I develop diverse methods of teaching for the students. For the around 5-8 years old kids, I would like to set certain games to play with them, thereby the kids can learn the new language during the interaction and communication. In this way, different media, like color pictures, puppets, or storybooks are essential to make the course very attractive. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker, born in Gansu Province, China, and I completed my secondary education in Sichuan. Growing up in different regions of China gave me a rich cultural background and a broad understanding of everyday Chinese life and language.

Later, I moved to Belgium to study at university in Dutch, and today I work as a mechanical engineer. I am also a father of two children. Living abroad and learning new languages myself has helped me understand how challenging — but also how fun — language learning can be.
