Japanese is spoken by over 130 million people around the world and Japan is a very powerful economic power. As it also drives a very large entertainment industry it has never been both practical and useful to learn Japanese to both talk to people as well as enjoy the wide variety of media content.

This class takes an unorthodox approach to learning Japanese that will accelerate the learning process compared to any traditional class.

I have a certificate in Japanese Language and Culture from Princeton University. I have done three years of research on Japanese hikikomori and has done hundreds of hours of interviews with people for this project.

I have taken the highest level Japanese class offered at Princeton University.

I have been speaking Japanese for 6 years and can effectively speak, read, and write at a native level.
