I am Edith, a vocal coach and singer-songwriter. I had the honor of being trained in music education at the Richard Cross school, which provides an original, inclusive and comprehensive pedagogy. I have been teaching singing and public speaking since 2019, within various structures. Musician and singer of all styles, I passionately transmit my practical and theoretical knowledge of music, and I call on my students to experiment with their vocal instrument above all. My name is Anna, I am 23 years old and I graduated in music from the University of Montreal. I offer private lessons in music theory, music theory or even music history to all those who wish to discover this universe whatever their age. I adapt my music theory and music theory lessons according to the level of the student; from learning to read notes for beginners to certain notions of analysis for the more advanced. I also have several exercises to develop the ear (deciphering, listening, dictation, auditory analysis, initiation to polyphony, ...). Finally, I am a young lyric singer and I therefore offer classical singing lessons or other, where I can give the basics of vocal technique, to improve the placement of the voice (also practical for stage actors), or simply for the pleasure to discover your own instrument and to make music.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

We will go over important audition etiquette, your audition materials, calming your nerves, and more information that will help you succeed! People auditioning for a local or school choir, musical, play, opera, cabaret, or any performance of any level will benefit from this! If you need help finding and/or choosing your audition materials, I am also available to help with that upon request. Please plan on meeting twice for this option; The first meeting will be discussing details of your audition and your performance style, and finding good materials that suit what you are auditioning for. I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music.
