Biology classes in English and Spanish - Primary / Secondary

My name is Alberto . An enthusiastic 19 year old Biomedical Sciences student at Maastricht University. During my studies I deal with advanced level biological content from Molecular Biology to Human anatomy, on a daily basis. There is also a big emphasis on being able to explain and communicate newly acquired knowledge, which contributes to my teaching skills. I have previously completed 1 year (60 ECTS) in Biology at the University of Oviedo, where I also learned about general animal and plant biology, Cell Biology, Chemistry and Physics, among others. I believe that Biology can be a challenging subject for everyone, Therefore I would love to share my enthusiasm and experience on the subject with any primary/high school student who may need it. I promise you, Biology can be a fun thing to learn, specially when you understand it!
Before each session, you could for example send me which topics you would like to focus on (e.g. picture of your textbook, homework..) so that we can address it during the session. The classes would be fully given in English and focused on each student's materials. The classes can also be given in Spanish if desired by the student (native Language).

Have your own textbook or course notes. Pen and Notebook will also be necessary.

Tijdens de lessen zullen we samen kijken waar de moeilijkheid zit en zal ik proberen een duidelijke uitleg te geven. Wanneer dit is gelukt zal ik naar geschikte oefeningen zoeken die verdieping kunnen geven.

During this study I am still working on Biology and Chemistry on a daily basis and I can certainly help you to get your Havo or VWO diploma. We do this by, for example, looking together at your homework assignments and where the difficulties are, after which we can then make exam assignments. The lesson can be given online or on location. ok I am working on my 2nd degree teaching certificate this year through the Educational Minor. I'm currently doing an internship in high school and will (hopefully) graduate at the end of the year.
So are you in HAVO or VWO and do you have trouble with Biology and / or Chemistry? Please do not hesitate to contact me and together we will see what we can do about this.

I passed the IB diploma program for Biology Standard Level with full marks, I also received a 7 on my Internal Assessment (IA). I have a very good grasp on what the IB expects from it's students (all the weird and wonderful little criteria.) I have a very good grasp on Biology the subject itself, as it was one of my favorite classes and I understand the concepts on a broader and more minute scale, so I can help students to understand the topics as well as the specifics and how they all play into one another. I aim to provide students with not just the memorization of information in a somewhat robotic sense, but an actual understanding and comfortable grasp on all the topics, ideas and concepts. I can help with any homework or course work provided, including providing feedback and guidance on essays and assignments. I also like to set out extra homework (not difficult, just based on our sessions) to get back to me at the next meeting so that the student's confidence and grasp on the subjects continues to build and I can see where exactly they need assistance.

NB: prior to our meetings, if possible, I would appreciate being sent whatever course work or topics the student is currently doing in class (or the syllabus, in the best case scenario) in order to best maximize my planning and ability to assist.
