After graduating with honours in mathematics and physics-chemistry, I did a degree in mathematics and then went on to business school. As far as methodology is concerned, the lessons take place as follows: first we go over the course (essential for success in the exercises), we work together on the points that have not been understood and then we do exercises according to the needs of the student (of increasing difficulty). The aim is to give students back their confidence, and that requires an IMPARABLE grasp of the course! Generally, I recite the lesson and what has been covered in the previous lesson at the beginning of each class, which allows me to see what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood. Once the student understands and remembers the lesson, progress is considerable and the student regains self-confidence, enabling them to succeed in the exercises. I offer a variety of exercises (written and oral comprehension and written and oral expression). I try to teach French in a more fun way than in normal lessons so that students want to learn the language. Finally, I attach great importance to the human aspect, which is why I communicate and exchange a lot with my students and their parents after class and outside of class time. I'm available to my students at any time during the year.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language.
