An avid language learner myself, I understand just how challenging it is to learn a foreign language. I graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and, then, from Hamad bin Khalifa University with a master’s in Translation Studies. I lived, studied, and worked in the Middle East for eight years where I fell in love with the language, the culture, and the people. There, I gained experience teaching in language centers to large groups of students and one-on-one as a private tutor.

I recently moved back to my hometown in California; however, I am hoping to continue to teach students from the region and all over the world! Teaching English is my passion. I enjoy helping students reach their language learning goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced, I have experience with all ranges of learners. During my teaching career, I have taught business and conversational English, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL classes.
