I'm currently studying viola performance and education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have a large experience in teaching, both in schools and privately, beginners or intermediate students.
I’m offering viola lessons that suite any level of playing.

My goal is that the students come out of their lessons feeling inspired and motivated to practice and enjoy music! I aim to help students finding their passion, to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument!

Hello! I’m João, from Portugal, and I currently study viola performance and education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn.

Education

Currently studying 4th year of Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn.
Preliminary studies in Porto, Portugal - best student of his course.

1st prize at the “Vasco Barbosa” National Competition (2017), having the opportunity to perform as a soloist with orchestra, in a live broadcast to the Portuguese classical radio - Antena 2; 2nd prize in the International Summer Academy “Verão Clássico” (2019).

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

I'm an oboe player who recently graduated from the Masters at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where I as well have done my bachelor degree. I'm from Mexico and I've been living in the Netherlands for over 7 years. I love working with kids but as well with adults and any person who's motivated and willing to learn this beautiful instrument at any level. I can teach you how to read notes, rythms, harmonies, etc. I speak Spanish, Engllish, French, Italian and some Dutch. Depending on your goals we can make a fun programme and play any kind of music you are interested on!

Cello and/or Music theory lesson for children, adolescent and adult of any level, from beginner to advanced level.
The lesson will be in English or in French.
The most important things to me is to combined pleasure, hard working and sharing.
I will try to make my student play with each other as often as possible and try to organised some small projects like student concerts with maybe some rhythmical workshop, solo pieces or ensemble pieces.

My name is Lucas and I am 22 years old. I currently have a grade 8 in violin with the ABRSM curriculum, and have been playing the violin for over 15 years. While learning the violin, I have always been taught in a private manner, with a teacher just to myself so I would know exactly what kind of atmosphere you would need to learn quickly.
The lessons I would provide are for any level of students, from a person that is just beginning or is maybe just interested in playing the violin to a bit more experienced players that are looking to improve their skills.
I will make sure that you always have some work to do between lessons so that you can also improve your skills on your own and show me what you have learnt or practiced in between our lessons.

I'm a student at the Amsterdam Conservatory, and I offer clarinet and music theory lessons in French or English!

I specialize in orchestral and chamber music. I'm also teaching since 5 years and I enjoy sharing my passion for music, whether it's on stage or in a more intimate setting during a private lesson.

This will start by either understanding the foundations of music theory on one selected piece and slowly adding components to complete it such as emotions. Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. With my years of experience and my wide ranging love of music from folk music to classical to contemporary I’m willing to broaden your musical horizon and bring you a wide range of technique to help you becoming the musician you want to be!
