Overly confident and really condescending. I could tell she did almost no prep for our lessons. I spent most of the time just having her dictate notes to me from her cell. I told her I wanted to work on my pronunciation, and some lessons she wouldn’t have me speak at all. When I was writing or speaking she constantly interrupted every single time I made an error which is just plain unhelpful for learning. She laughed at me if I said a word wrong, and it made me feel horrible, so discouraging for a beginner. I asked for homework between lessons and she wouldn’t give me anything. I bought 5 lessons but only took 4 with her because she always canceled and rescheduled with little notice. She speaks English fine but a teacher should actually be interested in helping their students and I did not get that feeling from Stephanie.
