Maths is a subject which is often hated by many people as it is viewed as 'difficult' to understand. However, understanding Maths is not as hard as it may seem and can be an amazing achievement for many. Even now when I finally understand a mathematical concept I feel a huge sense of achievement! I pride myself on being a very personable tutor, connecting with my students personality-wise. All my students have said they feel comfortable and calm around me, which is something I believe significantly helps them achieve their goals! They know that even if they get an answer wrong, with me, it's okay because we'll work on it together in the best, most efficient way possible. Aside from Maths, I love to travel, sing, dance, read self-improvement books and invest! I am passionate about teaching young people about investing, since I think it is an important concept to understand and not gate-keep. All lessons are based on previous classes and what you personally feel you need to work on in that particular lesson. We'll also go through exam papers from the very beginning, so you know what's ahead. Everything is well prepared and well thought of to ensure you get the most out of each and every session. My profile as a teacher is deeply influenced by a unique combination of experiences and skills. Initially, I studied telecommunications with a specialization in audiovisuals, driven by my passion and devotion to music. However, life led me to work in the field of computer science, where I have developed a solid and diverse career. Both areas, music and computer science, share an abstract quality that I find natural to understand and master. This ability to grasp the abstract allows me to approach teaching from a versatile perspective. In my classes, I use this understanding to adapt and shift the focus of my explanations, making it easier for my students to understand and connect with the concepts we are working on. My experience in both fields has taught me to translate complex concepts into clear and accessible ideas, making learning more intuitive and effective. I am here to help you overcome any conceptual barriers and find your own path to understanding and success in your studies. In my math and physics classes, I focus on making complex concepts accessible and understandable for everyone, with a particular emphasis on first-year engineering students. I know that subjects like calculus, programming, and physics can seem especially challenging at first due to their abstract nature. My approach is designed to connect theory with practical applications and concrete examples. I use my background in telecommunications engineering with a specialization in audiovisuals to present topics visually and dynamically, helping abstract concepts come to life. Through hands-on methods and case studies, I will guide you through problem-solving and a deeper understanding of each topic. We will work together to break down any difficulties you may encounter, ensuring you understand not only the "how" but also the "why" behind each principle. With this approach, you will feel more confident and prepared to tackle the challenges of your subjects and overcome initial barriers with confidence. I am here to help you turn those challenges into opportunities for learning and growth!

I'm a musician, composer and producer from the UK with more than 20 yrs teaching experience. I give classes for guitar, bass guitar, theory, composition, arranging, mixing and production in English with intermediate Spanish. I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years. I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. In time I would include new techniques as required by the piece and style and improvisation/composition to follow the student’s interest. I have developed an accelerated program with the goal of the student playing their favourite pieces as soon as possible. My constant aim is to find the right balance between student motivation and a thorough musical grounding, equipping the student for the future. If you're starting or improving guitar or need help with your songs ask me anything.
