Hello! 👋

My name is Rafael and I’m from Portugal! :)

I would love to help you on this adventure of learning the Portuguese language.
I’m fluent in teaching both bacalhau Portuguese and caipirinha Portuguese (PT & BR). I’m deeply involved with both cultures.

My classes are tailored to meet the needs of my students. I have the experience and skills to offer conversation lessons and/or more structured classes focused on grammar.
Whatever your reason for seeking Portuguese lessons, I’m here to listen and help you in any way I can.

FYI: I’m also a musician, so we can chat a lot about music or even incorporate it into our Portuguese lessons. Have you ever wanted to analyze the lyrics of Bossa Nova or Fado? If you love Brazilian or Portuguese music, we can definitely use it as class material.

I have been teaching at the Una Paloma Blanca language school in Rotterdam since 2020.

Here, I had the chance to really develop my teaching craft, working with many different students, each with their own needs and reasons for learning Portuguese. I had the opportunity to teach both European and Brazilian Portuguese to individual and group classes.

In addition to this work, I also provided private lessons to some students who needed preparation before moving to Brazil or Portugal.

In my classes, we set personal goals, and I help you with all the knowledge and experience I have.

My lessons are balanced with a good amount of conversation practice, grammar and exercises.

I am a musician and language teacher.
Started teaching languages in 2020 and I have been doing it since then. I found the passion of teaching my language to other people and it always fascinates me to learn more about other languages and cultures.

I consider my self a very calm, open and creative person and I try to make my lessons tailor made the every student's needs :)

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language?
I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! Tijdens de lessen wordt u de beginselen van de Arabische taal bijgebracht, zowel het gesproken als het geschreven Arabisch. Uiteraard houden wij zoveel mogelijk rekening met individuele wensen. Op speelse wijze wordt het leren van het alfabet gecombineerd met conversatie en het aanleren van de grammatica.

Het modern standaard Arabisch (MSA) is afgeleid van het klassiek Arabisch en is de schrijftaal in de gehele Arabische wereld. Het is ook de gesproken taal van conferenties, onderwijs, radio en televisie, religie en formeel taalgebruik. Het is in het kort de taal van miljoenen Arabieren die elementair onderwijs hebben genoten.
