My lessons focus on developing your communication skills and building confidence when speaking the language. Therefore, I will offer you two different lessons:

1-Conversation: We will choose a list of topics that interest you and start having conversations around that topic. I will give you new vocabulary and explain the main grammar points.
2-Learning through music. This is the other version of learning a language and involves developing fluency and attachment to the language through Spanish music. We will analyze the lyrics and learn the vocabulary included in the songs of your choice! My lessons are intended to be fun but also to learn quickly through your weekly lessons with me. Although I am capable of speaking other European languages, I will insist on always communicating in Spanish with you. Trust me, your brain will thank you for this effort!
3. Grammar+conversation around grammatical points: With this module, we learn to speak Spanish about grammatical points. If you need to improve verb conjugations, grammar and speaking in general, this course is for you.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. Elke les is 100% afgestemd op het niveau, de (leer)behoefte en de leerstijl van de leerling: spelenderwijs, met meer herhaling of juist veel afwisseling. Jij als ouder blijft altijd betrokken: na elke les ontvang je een korte terugkoppeling en we bespreken regelmatig de voortgang.

Veel kinderen begrijpen en onthouden beter als ze het kunnen zien. Vaak helpt een schema, een tekening of een afbeelding heel erg om iets te begrijpen. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald.
