MY LESSONS:
Learning Estonian can be quite hard on your own or in a group. As a native speaker, I can help you become fluent in Estonian by mostly practicing conversation and pronunciation. I also help with other aspects of language learning, like writing, reading, and listening. Sometimes I help with Harno exam preparations as well. I tend to work with a maximum of two students at once, so couples, friends, and family members are welcome to have the lesson together. We will be using English as a base language in our lesson.
MY TEACHING STYLE:
- Anxiety and perfection-free space - mistakes are welcome!
- You choose the time, the place, and the learning style
- Every student is unique and has their own pace
- I will provide the study materials for you
- Flexibility in learning
- No grading system
REQUIREMENTS FOR ONLINE LESSONS:
- Having a good Wi-Fi connection
- Having a laptop or a tablet with a camera
REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME LESSONS:
- Living within 30 minutes walking distance from my location
- Having a laptop for exercises

My name is Kristel, and I am a native Estonian speaker living in Tallinn. I am teaching Estonian to expats who plan to stay in Estonia for an extended period. As a language tutor, I love helping people grow their language skills and gain confidence in speaking.
In addition to teaching, I am also a language learner. Currently, I am studying Spanish to enhance my skills, which gives me a unique perspective on the challenges of learning a foreign language.
