Paths of the past: Exploring History and the Humanities.

Everyone learns differently. That's why I teach the way you want. You decide what you want to learn and how, including when your lesson takes place and how long it lasts. I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it concerns Michelangelo's David or the graffiti on the walls of Dubai, I'll be happy to tell you about it. Anything is possible. I am trained as a musician/writer and am a second-degree teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have been teaching art history, music history, creative writing and other subjects at the senior level of a small secondary school for a number of years, where I am also a team member. I write teaching materials that are used at various schools in secondary and higher education. I have a lot of experience with innovative education and one-on-one teaching. This visual arts class offers students a structured introduction to both the practice and theory of art. Through hands-on activities such as drawing, painting, and working with mixed media, students will develop their technical skills and creativity. At the same time, they will explore important art movements, styles, and artists from different cultures and historical periods. The course encourages students to think critically about what art means, how it is created, and how it reflects the world around us. Lessons include discussions, visual analysis, and short readings to help students understand how art connects to ideas like identity, culture, and history. Students are guided to express their own thoughts and experiences through their artwork, while also learning to describe and reflect on the work of others. By the end of the course, they will have built a small portfolio and gained greater confidence in both making and understanding visual art. The class can be conducted in English or French.

History is one of the most important subjects for any student to understand. In addition to being part of a student's core curriculum, an understanding of history is essential for viewing the world in an informed manner. Through this course, we will learn about US & European History at the middle and high school levels. Rather than exploring history through dates and memorization, we will view history through the lenses of causation, continuity and change over time, and comparison.

History is the vector that allows us to better understand our society, the world in which we live. It is essential for general culture. The level of the course will adapt to the level of the student, from primary to university. It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

This is a class to get a 360 understanding of what is the European Union: origins, institutions, challenges, its place in the international system, its key legal texts. It is a perfect introduction to the topic for young people and adults.

In my third year of the history faculty at the Jean Moulin Lyon III University, I plan to enroll in a master's degree in medieval history. I want to write a research paper on the French and the Mongols in the 13th century. I would like to go on to write a thesis on the theme of Mongol incursions into Japan (1274 and 1281). The sessions will aim to deepen or discover concepts about a period. I am comfortable with the era: medieval (especially from the 12th-13th century), modern (it all depends on the region and the century) as well as prehistory. I am able to establish a progression curve, as well as adapt the lessons according to the need or simply in relation to the expectations of the student. If necessary, repetitions and accentuations on knowledge can take place. Since I am not yet at the apotheosis of my studies, I will only offer these services to beginners or students (up to high school or first year of history school at the "maximum"). I can also offer help for tests related to the history dissertation or text commentaries, very famous and predominant exercises in studies in the history faculty.
