Bruna Matić is a qualified drum teacher with years of experience leading her own bands and performing with other artists offering lessons to everyone from absolute beginners to professionals.

Having obtained her master's degree in jazz drums in the Netherlands and bachelor's degree in Austria she also works as a professional musician versatile in many different genres of music.

She is also this year's winner of the Status award in the category of jazz drums given by the Croatian Musicians Union.

My name is Bruna Matić and I'm a drummer, educator, composer and arranger with a master's degree in jazz drums and over 10 years of playing experience. Throughout my career I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the best musicians and bands in my home country and abroad, as well as lead my own bands. I would now like to bring my skills and expertise to Apprentus to help you with all your drumming related questions.

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique.

Learn to play to decipher scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music.
No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music.
Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch.
There is no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth.

About the Lesson:

Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills?
In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument.
I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes:

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.

My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.

Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.

A bit about me:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

Non ! ne partez pas ! c'est fou que ce que le mot "solfège" peut induire comme craintes. Les méthodes on changé, La formation musicale est mélangée à la pratique musicale dès le premier cours.
Et bien sûr, il faut un piano (les vrais, de bois et de fonte), pas de claviers au sons moches, au nombre de touches incomplète, en plastique....
