I’m Ashwadh, a graded drummer with over 9 years of experience in drumming and marching band performance. Along with drums, I’ve trained in several instruments including flute, bongo, side drum, bass drum, cajón, and ghatam. Having grown through the journey as a student myself, I understand the challenges beginners face and know exactly how to guide you effectively.

With experience from numerous concerts, competitions, and teaching sessions, I focus on the fundamentals that truly matter in mastering an instrument. I also provide handwritten western notes, along with song sheets, rudiments, and hand exercises to make learning structured, clear, and enjoyable.

Hello everyone! My name is Noam and I am a professional drummer, drum teacher and music producer, living in Brussels. I am available for drum lessons in Brussels for all levels, beginner to advanced.

Learning drums is extremely fun and satisfying! It involves the entire body and the mind, challenging in many different ways and extremely rewarding.

While it can be demanding to learn an instrument, it can be as easy as you want it to be. Our lessons can be designed to fit your personal goal. In the lessons we will play songs, study technique and reading and learn different genres of music - all while having fun!

I'm a professional drummer from Spain, but living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I have studied Latin drums at Codarts, university of the arts, in Rotterdam, so I've acquired a lot of knowledge and skills on Cuban and Brazilian music, jazz, funk and Pop.

I've performed in places such as:
North Sea Jazz Festival, Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Tivoli (Utrecht), Jazzcafe Dizzy, etc...

The course includes technical exercises on drums, warm-ups, and dynamics. It then introduces fills and rhythms from different styles such as rock, jazz, tango, folklore, Latin, and African forms, with a linguistic and sonic transformation evident due to the influence of the music we listen to and enjoy. The Method contains technical exercises, over snare drum, warm up and dynamics. Then it has fills of different styles such as Jazz, Funk, Latin, Tango, folklore or African forms...with an evident transformation in language and sound because of the influence of African continent.

- Fully personalized teaching. I choose the material for each class according to your musical tastes and your level.

Drum lessons with David offer both private and group drum experiences. After completing his studies with the famed Brian Kirk (drummer for the Pointer Sisters, and many others) in 2004 David continued to be an active performer and began to discover another passion in life: Teaching. David’s instructional style utilizes building a vocabulary of drum rudiments and applying them to the songs that interest students most.

Percussion classes:

-Classical (conservatory): snare drum, marimba with 2 and 4 drumsticks, timpani and other instruments of the symphony orchestra.
-Solfeggio and music theory.
-Drums classes: beginner, normal and intermediate level, with practice of songs chosen by the student.
-Classes of traditional drum, tabalet or traditional drum of the Valencian Community with their own methodology and book.

I'm a long experienced drummer and percussionist, specialised in improvised music, jazz and creative music in general, even though my professional activitity spans from contemporary to pop music.
I have accomplished my Bachelor and Masters study in Italy, and since september 2023 I moved to Basel to do a Specialised Master in composition, performance and improvisation.

With many years of experience in private teaching and two years as associate professor at the Conservatory of Milan, I love to deal with committed, passionate and curious musicians at any point of their musical carreer, weather they might want to study just for fun, passion, or as a way to enter the profesisonal world of music.
I'm available to teach to drummers and percussionist, as well as other instrumentists that may want to deepen their understanding and practicing on rhythm.

My artistic research is about time and space, that find their realisation in colors and rhythms. As I graduated also in Foreign Lenguages and Literatures, I like to have also a linguistic approach to music and to musical genres.
Some of my main practice interests:
- rhythm and dance
- rhythm and body
- rhythmic approaches in XX century music (mainly minimalism, serialism, spectralism, new music)
- historical approach to rhythm and music
- rhythmic folk traditions from different countries (india, africa, south america, eastern europe)

I see music, drums, percussions and teaching as one of the most beautiful ways to deepen our humanness and understaning of ourselves and the others.

I offer personalized guitar lessons, offering 4 hours per month to support you in your learning. Each lesson is tailored to your musical tastes, as I firmly believe that fun is essential to learning faster and easier. At the end of each session, I send you a summary video so you can review the key points and continue to progress between lessons.

My schedule is flexible and adapts to your availability, so that learning remains a pleasant moment in your schedule. In addition, a special number is available to answer all your questions, guaranteeing you constant and responsive monitoring.

During your course, you will also have the opportunity to study up to two different musical styles, enriching your experience and skills. My training program is based on the Suzuki method, which emphasizes learning through instrumental practice before tackling music theory.
