About Francesca: I graduated as a translator and interpreter from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and I lived in different countries where I perfected my accent and pronunciation and I also learnt about the local culture (specifically Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, UK, the US).
I love foreign languages and cultures and my goal is to pass this enthusiasm on to my students as they also learn "boring" grammar rules. For me it's all about helping you find a method of language learning that makes it easy for you to remember new words and correct grammar.

I am very passionate about foreign languages, cultures and communication. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to become an interpreter and so that's what I graduated in. Outside of my current job, I love offering help and tutoring in Italian, French and English to young children, teens, adults and seniors.
I pay special attention to grammar foundations and rules, accent and pronunciation so that all the other skills can grow and improve from a solid basis. I am also very creative, patient and enthusiastic about languages and teaching.

I have a MSc. in Education, and I am currently a PhD candidate at Leiden University within the Humanities Faculty, as part of the Institute for History - International Studies.
My academic activities include developing special courses in order to prepare students for TOEFL, SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT examinations (American standardized tests required to apply to certain universities).
I am also an International Baccalaureate® (IB) and Advanced Placement proctor and tutor for the American School of The Hague.

I have many years of experience teaching English, Spanish, History, Social Studies, Psychology, MS maths and Algebra.

In addition, I have several years of experience with Mindfulness practices within educational settings in order to address procrastination, stress, anxiety, and enhanced cognitive and academic performance.

I am a native English speaker from Cambridge. All abilities are accommodated. Teaching can include help with your accent, understanding and making use of unique English phrases, concepts and grammar as well as tutoring in writing in complex and professional English. I can teach at my house, at a desired location or via webcam.

Based on your requirements, in this class you will learn how to speak the language fluently as a local, combined with a detailed and practical focus on the grammar and the lexicon.

Hi! I’m Clara and I’m half Spanish/British. I am fully native in both languages. I have experience teaching English and Spanish to adults for their professional needs and for children to help them prepare for exams. I offer conversation classes, written and speaking skills.

I have been a French tutor for more than 2 years to students with all levels. I adapt to my student(s) objectives and personalize my lessons to their goals and interests. For example, I have had students take lessons because they want to visit a French speaking country, want to study for exams or to make their conversations sound more like a native speaker. Prior to each lesson, I prepare documents and exercises. I can teach grammar, vocabulary and reading but I mainly focus on conversational skills by making my classes interactive. My goal is that you learn French from a native and not from a classroom!

If the student wants, I can also assign homework after each lesson. I remain available for any question you may have!

I had a 8.5/9 IELTS score and have lived abroad for several years, so English is a language I'm really comfortable in speaking.

I love creating worksheets and powerpoints. Furthermore, I love summarizing the topics I'm teaching in the end of each lesson and making sure the students never leave class with questions. Creating a comfortable environment for the students to make mistakes is something I consider really important.
