Hello everyone,

after successfully obtaining my French Baccalauréat and a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema (Licence) with High Honors, I am currently working at the Institut Français in Duesseldorf, where I did a seminar to become examiner for the French DELF tests. I also work with schools and promote this language to a young public, and therefore developed a high pedagogical quality during this last year.

I am therefore ready to help you in all your needs with this language, which can be quite tough sometimes (think about pronounciation and exceptions to the rules), and which I struggled myself to learn before obtaining a high professional level.

I can prepare you with strategies to understand the structure of the national test and help you successfully pass it, but I can also encourage you to "unblock" your language skills with chill conversation sessions, or more rigorous grammar explanation, while sharing with my suggestions to embrace this enriching culture (be it with films, books, music or art).

Si deseas mejorar tu italiano, retomar una serie de lecciones anteriores o simplemente comenzar desde cero a aprender italiano, ¡esta es la lección adecuada para ti! Me gusta personalizar cada clase/curso según las necesidades y objetivos de mis alumnos. Mis clases están enfocadas a mejorar las habilidades comunicativas del alumno. En los niveles principiante e intermedio bajo, prefiero usar un libro de texto/libro estudiantil en la primera parte de la clase. Yo suelo utilizar "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" y "Arrivederci" de Edilingua, o "Nuovo Espresso" y "Dieci" de Alma Publishing. Para la segunda parte de la lección, creo contenidos atractivos utilizando videos originales, artículos de prensa, extractos de blogs y redes sociales, textos literarios. Si los estudiantes no se sienten cómodos usando el italiano desde cero, puedo cambiar al inglés, alemán u holandés. El precio del curso incluye la corrección de los trabajos realizados en casa.

Ciao a tutti!

My name is Chiara and I'm a qualified italian teacher for foreigners with a DITALS certification taken by the school "Leonardo da Vinci" in Florence. After having passed my exam, I have done an internship in the same school and then I have worked here for a while. During this experience, I had the possibility to work with people from all around the world offering them classes that matched their desires: from A1 to B2. Therefore, more than once I have helped my students to pass the CILS exam, in order to reach the italian citizenship. Right now, I'm located in Vienna, but I can offer the lessons also online, of course. Lessons will be prepared based on the students' wishes and objectives. Mein Name ist Chiara und ich bin eine qualifizierte Italienischlehrerin für Ausländer mit einem DITALS-Zertifikat der Sprachschule „Leonardo da Vinci“ in Florenz. Nach meiner Prüfung absolvierte ich ein Praktikum an derselben Schule und arbeitete anschließend dort. In dieser Zeit hatte ich die Möglichkeit, mit Menschen aus aller Welt zusammenzuarbeiten und ihnen Kurse anzubieten, die ihren Bedürfnissen entsprachen: von A1 bis B2. So konnte ich schon mehreren Schülern helfen, die CILS-Prüfung zu bestehen und damit die italienische Staatsbürgerschaft zu erlangen. Der Unterricht wird auf der Grundlage der Wünsche und Ziele der Schüler vorbereitet. Aktuell lebe ich in Wien, biete aber natürlich auch Online-Unterricht an. Ich freue mich schon sehr darauf, euch kennenzulernen und mit euch gemeinsam die faszinierende Welt der italienischen Sprache zu entdecken :)

I grew up abroad, studied in English, and have always worked in English-speaking environments. Over the years, I’ve led teams, coached individuals, and offered private sessions on various topics — including conversational English.

In schools, there’s often a strong focus on grammar, which is important, but not enough time is spent just talking. To really improve a language, you need space to speak freely, make mistakes, and have fun — and that’s exactly what I offer.
