Ma formation de base d'ingénieur civil m'a apporté une méthode de travail basée sur l'apprentissage par problème. Ma méthode d'apprentissage est donc surtout basée sur la pratique car le plus important pour les matières analytiques est de savoir résoudre n'importe quel type d'exercice. Et pour cela, il faut en faire le plus possible. Durant mes études, je me suis rendu compte que la meilleur manière de comprendre une matière est de faire des exercices dessus. Il faut néanmoins avoir certaines bases. C'est pour cela que j'ai l'habitude de commencer par un petit rappel sur la matière et de fournir un formulaire avec les formules/concepts importants quand cela est nécessaire. Ensuite, je résous avec l'étudiant un ou plusieurs exercices types en lui expliquant la marche à suivre. Et enfin, l'étudiant fera lui même des exercices en s'aidant du formulaire (c'est en utiliser des formules qu'on les retient le mieux). Je serai alors là pour diagnostiquer sa compréhension, pour répondre à ses questions et pour l'aider quand cela est nécessaire.
