Learn Web Development 1:1 with an Ex-MongoDB Engineer (JavaScript, React, Node)
From 39 € /h
I’ve been teaching people to code since I was 17, first kids in Costa Rica, then CS students at university, and later developers in webinars of 200+ people as a Solutions Architect at MongoDB.
In these 1:1 classes, we’ll work on exactly what you need, at your pace. I can help you:
Learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript from scratch
Build real projects with React, Node.js, Express and MongoDB
Get unstuck on bootcamp, university or personal projects
Prepare for technical interviews and your first developer job
Understand how to use AI tools to code better, without relying on them blindly
I’m a bootcamp graduate myself, so I know how overwhelming learning to code can feel. My goal is to make each concept click, so you leave every class able to do something you couldn’t before.

About Me
Hi, I’m Yoav. I grew up in Costa Rica, studied computer science in New York, and now live in Valencia, Spain.
I taught my first coding class at 17, to a room of kids in Costa Rica, and I’ve been teaching in some form ever since: tutoring CS and math students at university, and later running webinars and training sessions as a Solutions Architect at MongoDB.
As a teacher, I’m patient and practical. I’d rather spend a class building something with you than lecturing at you. When something doesn’t click, I try a different explanation until it does. I also did a coding bootcamp myself, so I remember what it feels like to be lost in your first big project.
I especially enjoy working with career changers, bootcamp students, and anyone who’s curious but doesn’t know where to start. Classes are in English or Spanish.
