I can offer both structured instruction with a progressive program and more flexible support, based on the pieces the student wishes to learn. I am always open to musical suggestions and particularly enjoy working on a repertoire chosen by the student. I am convinced that consistency is the key to progress: moving forward step by step allows you to develop true musicality as well as self-confidence. There is no mandatory commitment, but regular lessons and personal practice between sessions are strongly recommended for lasting progress. I have already helped many friends, colleagues, and students prepare for exams, competitions, and other musical goals. Having participated in numerous competitions myself, I know what they require and how to prepare effectively. Thanks to my training in the French musical tradition, I bring an open and versatile approach, which can enrichingly complement more academic teaching methods. After 9 years of playing and learning classical music, I left the music conservatory to explore other ways of music. In further years, I pack my Traversal Flute and ride my bike searching for new musical experiences. Then I made a stop at each street musician I found to play with him/her. That was the way I start my path in the fascinating world of improvisation. After almost 10 years of Jam sessions and spontaneous musical meetings, I become an expert in music Improvisation. My method of learning has 4 cornerstones Hearing Playing Theory (tonalities, modalities, intervales, harmony) Creativity (psychology and music)

This class is for people who want to develop their musicianship, to be able to pick up any instrument and work out a tune, to be able to pick up a guitar at a jam session and join in!! My teaching aims to improve musicality and to have fun, and of course with a focus on an instrument of your choice (this can be keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, mandolin, harmonica, whatever instruments I have lying around hehe :D). We can learn songs, riffs, chords, whatever you like! I have played music since I was 12, so over half my life, and since then I have played in a variety of different genre bands. Even without formal training, I have an extensive knowledge of music theory and I like to write my own jazz tunes. I am currently trying to join bands since I've moved to Leipzig:)
