My name is Ségolène (26 years old). I have a double degree from KULeuven with a Master of Business Administration (NL/EN) as well as the agrégation (Educatieve Master). I worked for 2 years in insurance and currently work at Odoo.

My mother tongue is French, but from a very young age, I was educated in Dutch, which allowed me to become perfectly bilingual. I love supporting my students and seeing them progress. I offer academic support in any subject but also to help them learn how to learn, become better organized, and gain confidence.

MY EXPERIENCE :

I helped several students to pass the CE1D exam in Dutch (written, oral, listening comprehension). In addition, I also assisted students with their homework and for various subjects at secondary level (Maths, Handel (commerce), Sciences: WO, NW...).
Finally, it is also possible for younger children to learn Dutch in a fun way (language games, educational games).

Je donne des cours particuliers de mathématiques, pour les enfants de primaire et jusqu'à la 3ème secondaire. Je suis passionnée par les mathématiques depuis mon plus jeune âge, et j'aime tout particulièrement transmettre ma passion aux enfants. Je suis très patiente avec eux, et accorde beaucoup d'importance à l'aspect ludique des cours. Je me suis déjà occupée de 2 élèves qui ont significativement amélioré leurs résultats, et mon ancienne prof de maths faisait régulièrement appel à moi pour l'aider à la remédiation. J'ai par ailleurs un diplôme d'animatrice, qui me permet de pouvoir créer des jeux adaptés aux besoins de l'enfant. J'accorde également beaucoup d'importance à ma méthode et à la structure : je pense qu'il est important que l'enfant puisse garder une trace de nos cours grâce à un cahier, dans lequel on écrit au fur et à mesure des cours, en adoptant un certain code couleur et une certaine structure. J'aime aussi mettre en place de petits défis en fonction de la personnalité et des besoins de l'enfant. Je suis par ailleurs passionnée par le calcul mental, ce qui m'a donné envie de me former au soroban, boulier japonais, qui permet de s'améliorer significativement en calcul mental tout en s'amusant. Outre le soroban, je connais plusieurs astuces de calcul mental, et me suis également formée en autonomie à la méthode multimalin, permettant d'apprendre rapidement les tables de multiplication, et ce de manière ludique. Je suis très impliquée auprès de mes élèves afin de trouver les astuces qui leur permettront au mieux d'assimiler la matière.
