Music Composition, Production, and Audio EngineeringTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Whether you've never written music before, or you're a seasoned professional looking to learn new skills, I want to help your music be the best it can. I can teach how you how to write music using a computer, your instrument, or for other musicians to play. I can teach you how to record yourself and then prepare those recordings for release. I have experience writing music in a range of styles, including film scores, EDM, ambient, and classical music. I have helped artists in folk, metal, EDM, hip hop, rock, pop, and many other genres. Composition I can help you to choose a digital audio workstation, which you can use to write and record music. I can help you install it and get it set up on your computer. I can then guide through sourcing and installing virtual instruments that will let you create music in any genre, and for any purpose. Once you're setup, I can guide you through creating your first musical ideas, and then developing them into cohesive musical pieces. I can teach you how to write music for others, and contribute to creative projects. Once you've been learning for a while, or if you already have experience, we can start to cover more advanced topics such as orchestration, synthesis, and more complex musical forms. Production Music production is the process of taking a basic musical piece, such as a song, and arranging and polishing it to prepare it for release. I can teach you to arrange parts for strings, synths, or choir, or write drum, bass, guitar, or keyboard parts. I have worked with artists in folk, metal, rock, pop, jazz, RnB, hip hop, and EDM. No matter your genre, I can help you polish your songs and prepare them for release. Audio Engineering Do you want to set up your own home recording studio? To learn how to record and mix your own songs? Or are you just curious to understand more about how the recording process works in studios? I can teach all you need to know about microphones, audio interfaces, and how to record your own instruments. I can give you advice on what equipment you need to get started on setting up your own studio at home. I can also teach you how to edit and mix recordings and songs so that every element is clear and serves the rest of the song well. Finally, I can teach you to master your song to prepare it for release, ensuring that it is loud and clear, no matter where you publish it.

Singing for beginners: Come and learn how to sing in a relaxed, fun, and vibrant setting one on one!Translate this text using Google Translate.

About me: I am a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Master's in Musical Theatre Performance. I teach drama, acting, and singing at two different arts academies in Glasgow. I have several years of professional performance-based experience which includes Radio City Music Hall, singing LIVE on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and multiple professional concerts/cabarets. Student experience: Music and singing should be for everyone to enjoy. Together we can focus on technique, repertoire, or simply how to sing healthily for fun. My classroom is a safe space to experiment and grow your love of singing. First lesson: In our first lesson we'll focus on some easy vocal warm-ups/exercises so I can assess your skill level. We'll chat about what you want to work on together. We'll talk about what kind of music you'd like to learn and discuss resources for sheet music and tracks. Moving forward: Acting and characterization are key components in learning to sing, even if just for fun! Enjoying your music choices and identifying why they speak to you will help in growing your vocal range. Moving forward together we'll focus on your skill level and reaching each vocal goal you have.

Glasgow Based Experienced French Tutor - All LevelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I'm Axel, I have been working as a private French tutor for five years. As a native speaker of French with a first-class degree in French Literature from Le Mirail University of Toulouse. I moved to Glasgow 7 years ago to work as a visual artist. I have a wealth of experience tutoring a wide range of people of all levels, from beginners to university students. I therefore possess a thorough understanding of the learning process and the specific difficulties students can face. Consequently, I have developed efficient methods of overcoming these on an individual basis. In my tutorials, I believe learning is most effective when it happens in a relaxed and comfortable environment. I therefore focus on engaging with students in a friendly manner making my lessons as interactive as they should be. In addition to my degree, I am a qualified youth group leader with extensive experience teaching drama and art to children in schools and different institutions. I have worked as a customer service agent for 4 years in London before moving here perfecting my level of formal English. Furthermore I am a recent fine art graduate able to adapt my lessons to a more creative/visual learner. I offer 1 hour sessions. I'm also happy to discuss longer sessions. I also offer group tuition, which has many educational benefits - please contact me if you would like to discuss this. I can travel anywhere within the Glasgow city area and can meet with students in their homes, or in a cafe/library. I am also happy to teach on zoom depending on your availability. If that's something you could be interested in, please get in touch! References available upon request. Looking forwards to working with you soon. Axel

Ancient Greek Grammar, Syntax, and Literature: Beginner, Intermediate, or AdvancedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Ancient Greek Grammar, Syntax, and Literature: Beginner, Intermediate, or AdvancedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My Ancient Greek class is fitting for learners at any level. Having studied Ancient Greek now for six years, not only in school but also at the Universities of Glasgow and Cambridge, I am extremely familiar with the language and its challenges. Using the Cambridge Reading Greek and Greek GCSE textbooks, adapted texts, and even "real" Greek literature where appropriate, I envisage Greek teaching and tutoring that focusses on the necessary aspects of grammar and rote language learning but supplements them with knowledge of Ancient Greek culture, history, and literature to make the language more alive and relevant. I am well-acquainted not only with the requirements of Greek learning at school, particularly for GCSEs, but also with the expectations of university Greek courses. A beginner will come to understand the fundamentals of the language, common vocabulary, and the "philosophy" that underlies grammatical forms and syntactical structures, an intermediate learner will come to grasp the more nuanced and trickier aspects of Greek grammar and reading, and an advanced learner will find confidence in reading Greek texts "in the wild" and the fluidity of translation and interpretation. Classes can be catered easily to the specific learning needs of any individual.
