I am the 8th generation successor of Guqin Sichuan School 川派古琴(also known as Shu School蜀派古琴), and I am currently based in Berlin, Germany. The inheritage thread of Sichuan School (only count from modern China) 1. Zhang, Kongshan (ca. 1830-1905) 2.Ye, Jiefu 3.Ye, Wanzhen 4.Liao, Wenfu 5.Yu, Shaoze (1903-1988) 6. Hu, Jinrong 7. Huang, Yishu 8. Li, Yang With the innermost passion of playing and teaching this interesting instrument, I would love to encounter more international students from diverse backgrounds, as long as we can communicate in English/Chinese. 2025 is my 11th year of practicing. The music ran through my college time in Beijing, pursuing master's degree in the UK, Australia, Italy, and now in Germany as a PhD candidate in art history. My another profession is art curator and researcher. I am keen to spread the music to more regions and population, and even more, fusing the music with different genres of global music. Traditional Sichuan School 1v1 teaching according to student's individual level. There is no fixed order to learn Guqin music. For beginners to advanced. Trusted teacher: Hello :) My name is Yaniv, a classical guitarist and guitar teacher with over 10 years of playing experience and 6 years of teaching. In my lessons, I focus on the joy of playing — how to enjoy the music, build control and confidence, and play the music you love. I work with my own books, with pieces and songs I’ve played over the years, and I also teach songs that students love and want to learn. I teach how to figure out songs by ear, understand how to play them, write charts, and more. We can work together on reading notation and tablature, proper technique, playing classical pieces and songs, improvisation, ear training, rhythm, and music theory — all tailored to your level and goals. I taught for many years at a conservatory, as well as privately. Some of my students started learning with me from the very beginning, stayed committed, and today they play at a very high level and perform in various ensembles. This October, I’ll begin an exchange program at the University of the Arts Berlin (UDK), and I’ll likely continue living here. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in classical guitar performance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and a diploma in jazz guitar performance from Rimon School of Music. I understand the path of every musician, because I’ve been through it myself. I started out learning on my own, and only after finding good teachers did I realize how much proper guidance and a teacher’s dedication can make a real difference. That’s why I build a personal and focused study plan for each student, to help them grow in the way that suits them best. I mainly teach classical guitar, but also electric, acoustic, and various styles.

Sam is an amazing teacher, patient and open to the student's goals and suggestions. His approach is more technical than theoretical but will nonetheless get anyone willing to learn up to speed on the basics into more advanced notions. He assessed what I was already able to do on the guitar to fill the gaps and help me progress into further fields. So far he's taught me the electric guitar, a bit of bass and piano and I'm very happy about all of it.

Costanza is an incredible teacher ! She has very quickly helped me fix bad habits and helped me build a routine that effectively improved the quality of my playing.
