I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events. My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance. This means we can absolutely work on different musical genres or more unconventional, creative approaches. I also ran an outreach music and arts project in the UK delivering music and art workshops in schools and art galleries as well as online, the project was recognised with two national awards from Deutsche Bank and UnLtd. My teaching style incorporates aspects of Dalcroze and Kodaly methodology as well as improvisation and collaborative composition. Primarily as a guitarist, I have spent years writing, recording, and performing music with various bands at venues ranging from International music festivals to coffee shops! Having studied Professional Musicianship at the British Institute of Modern Music, my understanding of music is both professional and practical, and this is the approach I take when teaching. Previously I have taught at the London Guitar Academy and I am now involved with BIMM Berlin. Costanza is an incredible teacher ! She has very quickly helped me fix bad habits and helped me build a routine that effectively improved the quality of my playing.
