I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in. I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself! In my teaching, I’m aiming to explain the basics of the DAW within the shortest time possible, making use of examples from actual tracks and showing how to achieve similar results, all the while keeping things fun and entertaining. My goal is to help students make sense of composing and arranging in Ableton and to create an effective workflow, utilizing the software’s numerous features. I have experience in both electronic (EDM, House, IDM, Leftfield, Breakbeat, Industrial) and more acoustic or guitar-driven (Indie Rock, Synthpop, Post-Punk) production.

Graduated in Lyrical Singing and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chile. Although I am a professional lyrical singer, throughout my career I have performed in various musical styles out of a constant curiosity to better understand our instrument and our bodily and emotional relationship through singing, and the various possibilities for development that they offer us. the different styles. I have a bachelor in Musicology, a master in History of Music and Arts and a master in Piano performance. I completed my study in Italy (Parma University and Conservatory of Bari) and I moved to Berlin in January 2019. I have 7 experience in teaching piano and music theory to musicians of all ages ("Accademia musicale mediterranea" in Taranto) and what I learned is that I like to be able to teach with success without following every time just the commonly accepted teaching rules.
