This way, you'll immediately put your technique into practice. - Creativity & Songwriting: You learn not only to play by ear, but also to create your own. How do you build a good bass line? How do you make sure it fits the drums? We work on your own musical voice. - Ear Training & Jamming: Do you want to be able to play along without sheet music? We train your ears so you recognize chords and melodies faster. We conclude every lesson with a short moment of improvisation: just dare to play and listen to what works. Feeling a bit stressed about improvising? No problem, so am I. I’ll happily help you through it, so you feel at ease in any setting. - Technique & "Theory at your fingertips": 1. We learn the neck of the bass blindly (where are the notes?). 2. We practice scales, modes, arpeggios, and inversions. Not as boring sequences, but as building blocks for creating more interesting bass lines. 3. For those who can read sheet music, we also include sight-reading. Can't read sheet music, but want to learn? Great, we'll do that. 4. We learn to play along with chord progressions. For absolute beginners: Have you just started? Cigdem is a great teacher who takes the time to integrate learnings with real-life discussions. For example, we spend 10 minutes at the start of each lesson and throughout the course of the lesson an extra 15-20 minutes having a chat about subjects including work and life in order to be able to apply all the theoretical learnings to the actual language.

A good teacher. Renata cares about the quality of studies. She also flexible, can teach both face to face and online. My son preferred online studying, but she invested time to come to our place to see and talk to the student face to face for the first lesson.
