If you are interested in learning how to play piano, you’re in the right place! I would love to work with you and help you get to know the piano and music generally. I love passing on my knowledge and taking my time with students.
The piano lessons would always include a little bit of theory that comes with the piano pieces we would do in the lessons. I can also give an extra theory lesson if needed.

Hello, I’m Milica. I've been living in Belgium since 2017. I speak English and Dutch and my native language is Serbian. I started playing the piano when I was 6 years old and graduated high school for classical music majoring in piano 2020. Currently I am studying jazz music at the Royal Conservatory in Ghent majoring in vocals.

Education

I always studied music apart from regular schools until I started high school, from that point I did only music.
Foundational Music School (piano, theory, solfege and singing) attended for 9 years
Musical High School (all basic musical subjects) attended for 4 years
Royal Conservatory of Ghent (jazz music/singing) present
Academy of Performing Arts Prague (jazz music) 2022/23 - Erasmus

I am a concert pianist with a degree in piano and pedagogy from the Zurich Conservatory. I am not only passionate about music but also about teaching, which is my vocation.
I teach all levels and ages and all styles of music. I do not rely on a single method but on several methodological works. This allows me to offer students a greater variety of pieces, especially for beginner levels, and to choose the most suitable piece that will best help the student progress.
I take into consideration my students' musical tastes and arrange their favorite pieces so that they are accessible to them. Music is and should remain a pleasure.
Music theory is only covered when necessary, but it is possible to go into more depth if the student wishes.

My name is Dorelle, and I have been playing the cello and piano since childhood. Teaching has always been an essential part of my journey, alongside my professional career as a cellist in various ensembles and orchestras.

My lessons adapt to any age, any level, any musical taste.

I give piano and music theory lessons, combined or separately. My method is fun and is based on practice and singing, from which come understanding, reading (drawings for young children) and analysis. I work with children from the age of 3 to 4 and without age limit. I emphasize the pleasure of playing, discovering, listening, repeating ... I also work with dyslexic students, learning music through singing and playing an instrument, helps the child to develop a working method, a technique that allows him to overcome the difficulties of his dyslexia. I also work with retired people to allow them to keep a lively mind and to stay on track. Welcome to my home or yours in case of impediment.

I have had private lessons for 11 years and have been playing this very beautiful instrument since I was 7. The lessons are really only a small part of the musical growth. What matters is that you can enjoy the music you create yourself.

This course is for anyone who wants to learn reading music or improve their music theory skills. It is also intended for students in academies who want a support course.
It is possible to work on hearing exercises (dictations, intervals), reading (7 keys if necessary), rhythm, singing and transposition for the most advanced students.
