I am a native English speaker with a native level of French. I am a Canadian Provincially-Licensed English teacher living in France. I have over 14 years of experience teaching the Quebec Ministry Program, the IB MYP and Diploma Programs, and preparing students for various Cambridge exams including the IGCSE. I am an IB Diploma English examiner with the mandate of standardizing various IB Diploma Program English Papers from around the world. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language, with a minor in teaching language arts, as well as a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Development.

2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.

Since obtaining my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) diploma in summer 2020, I have been teaching English to learners of all ages, from beginner to advanced level (A1-C1). Lessons are tailored to the student's needs, whether it's improving conversational English, preparing for an exam, working on Business English and more.

In addition to my work as a teacher, I am a student of English language and literature at the University of Geneva. English is truly my passion, which is why I strive to transmit the love of this language to all my students.

It contains on a general review of grammar but with emphasis upon speaking and getting comfortable with the English language.
