Trusted teacher: I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey. I teach the following: -the drums, in various styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, world music, latin music, on-demand songs) and forms (Moeller technique, speed, rudiments, syncopation, breaks, solo, independence, musicality, double pedal, push-pull, etc.); -percussion (2 or 4-mallet marimba and vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, hand percussion), in both contemporary and classical music styles; -music theory, which can and will easily be integrated into my drumming or percussion courses, or can be taught as a separate course for music students who are seeking remedial education; -harmony; -sight reading techniques; -perfect and relative pitch (experimental)

Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Ana, I am 32 years old and I am a violin teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience working with children and adults, specializing in creating a supportive environment for beginners and advanced players. I am based in Maastricht and I teach at my violin studio in Scharn. My teaching focuses on developing solid technique and musicality in a friendly and encouraging environment. I help students build a strong foundation and enjoy music-making. Over the years I have developed my own teaching method which includes elements from ABRSM, Trinity, Suzuki and Galamian methods, as well as covers standard violin repertoire. This makes learning structured and fun. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations in Maastricht, where everybody is welcome to join and support! Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand. A bit about my teaching background: both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high-level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists. I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialization in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018. Lessons can be in Dutch, English or Spanish.

Trusted teacher: ➤Choose the appropriate mediator to carry out quality work and help each other move forward/overcome certain mechanisms. An awareness necessary for change will then make it possible to be part of a new dynamic of life, to calm down and to use all its potential in the emotional/family/professional domains. ➤ Self-exploration in order to free oneself from emotion through speech and action / application, involves questioning oneself, analyzing, taking distance, and understanding the issues / points causing suffering or distress, before finally freeing oneself from them. This is intended to promote significant changes in cognitive, emotional or behavioral functioning. ➤This methodological approach, halfway between first practical behavioral coaching in an 'Anglo-Saxon' style and then psychoanalysis accompanied by a dedicated specialized psychoanalyst psycho-practitioner, is based precisely on precise questioning techniques, offering help in finding solutions, mastering new ways of envisaging/dealing with/perceiving difficulties, then implementing actions to be carried out. Combining the advantages of the two approaches and choosing the appropriate mediator to carry out quality work and help each other move forward/overcome certain mechanisms, will therefore induce the awareness necessary for this decided change, towards a new dynamic. ➤Objective? Understand the mechanisms of induced thought & emotion, linked to given everyday situations and which involve blockages. Then act concretely thanks to pragmatic techniques / methodological approaches from coaching, adapted to your situation to regain power over your life. ➤To lead this change & realize these aspirations, a cohort of concrete tools are at our disposal, but which involve deepening self-exploration. To question yourself, analyze, take some distance & understand the issues / problematic points, before finally freeing yourself from them through action. ➤Examples of themes/problems regularly dealt with & which are the subject of dedicated specialized support, adapted to your plan: •Self-confidence, self-esteem/assertion, shyness, decision-making, personal development •Management of emotions & suffering expressed in the form of anxieties, depressive disorders, embarrassments, addictions, relationship difficulties, phobia, stress, anger, anxiety, negative thoughts, panic, depression but also modification of behaviors harmful to good -being (post-traumatic stress, injuries, dependencies, addictions, etc.) • Disorders of school/professional relations (tensions, (re)orientation, pressures & conflicts) Program and personal (family, romantic, friendly, emotional) & social (loneliness, communication difficulties generating pain/frustration) • Problem of concentration, procrastination, organization, professional efficiency, time management •Management of a past trauma of which you are the victim (...) ➤At the start, it is always a question of knowing the triggers that led you to get support and knowing what you hope to accomplish with this follow-up. ➤With specific techniques that have proven themselves & adapted to your case and through a methodological approach and pragmatic tools, the purpose involves on the one hand an exploration of oneself through psychoanalytic tools and on the other hand concrete actions, as is the essence of coaching which bears fruit from the first sessions, by making you autonomous. ➤Influenced by cognitive & behavioral therapies, by Anglo-Saxon coaching instruments & the European methodology of applied psychoanalysis, the approach therefore aims to seek links between current difficulties and past experiences, including repressed and unresolved conflicts and to confront difficulties that may be partially related to inappropriate thoughts or behaviors learned/adopted often in spite of oneself. ➤And if cookie-cutter advice is precisely not offered, that you will never be judged or directed but heard and guided, in a process of permanent/interactive co-construction...it is precisely because it is important beforehand to analyze together, to become aware, to study jointly, to deepen, to decode your blockages & your initial problem to clarify your aspirations. ➤ So, how does a session take place? After an initial inventory, 'diagnostic'/exploratory contact during which your expectations are examined, your problem, your blockages, your needs and objectives identified, it is a question of analyzing them together then changing perspective/approach, considering 'the impasse' differently, think differently about the difficulties, gradually get out of your comfort zone thanks to a series of pragmatic suggestions/reflections/actions to be applied, according to a line of work defined together, anchored in a relationship of benevolent trust. ➤ So, to develop coherent solutions in a living, authentic and assertive life, inspired by our intuition and elements of positive psychology, this individual support helps to: - create a clear picture of your desired future and your individual journey - activate your unique resources and strengths - transform inner insecurity into confidence in order to focus your inner power - broaden your scope - use your gifts to co-create the transition to a vital and vital way of life in harmony with nature. Concretely, a SESSION = REFLECTION + SOLUTIONS, with a readjusted strategy if necessary. ➤ THE COACH PSYCHOANALYST PSYCHOPRACTITIONER Trained at the Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League University in the United States, our psycho-practitioner psychoanalyst has specialized and worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field , in renowned public and private international establishments, regularly participating in forums and conferences, and also offering personalized INDIVIDUAL support. ➤ PLACE, TIMETABLE, PRICES ✓ Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg-Zurich-Neuchâtel-Lugano-Montreux-Basel-Neuchâtel-Bern-Lucerne-Brussels-Luxembourg-Paris-Lyon. Trusted teacher: "I still remember the first time I heard the sound of a harp. I was 8 years old, my grandparents took me to a concert in the small church of Gosselies. When the harpist began to pluck the strings, I was kidnapped by the magical sound that emanated from the wooden heart. The longer the concert went on, the closer I got to the harp... After pestering my parents for a year, I began to study this magnificent instrument. It immediately became a sacred object for me. Thanks to it, I could communicate my feelings, laugh, relax and find the balance I was looking for." My courses are based on the Irish teaching method so first of all to the ear, on the resources that the student has in himself and on the fact that one learns while having fun. I propose a harp lesson: - Medieval dedicated to teenagers and adults for false beginner and intermediate based on medieval music and rebirth, improvisation, arrangement of melodies, ... - Celtic for all ages from 14 to 70 years, beginner level, false beginner, intermediate and intermediate / advanced based on Celtic repertoire and Irish, Scottish and Breton techniques After a few lessons, the neo-harpists will play short and simple melodies until the end of the journey to play more complete melodies that provide accompaniment and use of both hands. Lessons are defined on the learning needs of individual students. Even if I use the Irish teaching method, I will provide the basis for reading the pentagram, for the integration of rhythm, the foundations of harmony so that the student can read a piece of music independently. I live in Italy, so I come back to Belgium about once a month for face-to-face lessons (duration of face-to-face lesson: 90 minutes). Next dates for in-person classes in Belgium: April 10th. For googlemeet courses (3-4x per month, lesson duration 60 minutes) see typical week. Do not hesitate to write to me.

Trusted teacher: Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Trusted teacher: Lessons for all ages. Harp, piano, music theory. I graduated from the KMC Gent and have a career/experience of more than 40 years. I also followed yoga, mindfulness and kinesiology courses. The combination of playing an instrument with mindfulness opens up many possibilities. During the lessons for harp or piano you learn the necessary technique, and musicality is taken into account. The better the technical skill, the more fluidly the musicality can unfold. No previous knowledge of ear training is required for the instrument. Gradually you learn to read the notes. For those who wish, I give AMV (General Musical Education) Here you practice extra on reading, rhythm, general & specific hearing exercises, and theoretical knowledge. Those who are going to higher music studies and experience a gap in music theory can come to me for specific training. I also guide students for solfège who are taking their entrance exam for KMC and also during their student trajectory. Here is more explanation. The lessons are individual and adapted to each student. For toddlers aged 4 to 6 who are learning to play the piano, I follow a method based on a musical fairy tale. It is a method that meets the child's world of experience. They discover the possibilities of the instrument and the way of writing songs. Step by step they learn to play and sing songs on the piano. For harp I can advise to start at 6 years. Fingers at 4 years are still too tender to pluck strings. 6 years is a better age to start harp playing. They play on a small instrument that is appropriate for their age. For children who start from the age of 7, I use a different method book for piano and the child's world of experience is also taken into account. For children who start playing the harp at that age, the method book is also aimed at the child. The method books are therefore tailored to the age and capabilities of the child, teenagers and adults. For students at the college who are going to study music professionally, the subject 'music theory' is included in the curriculum. In case of shortcomings in music theory, the specific needs are updated. Both theory, lecture in G and F clef, performance of rhythm in all time signatures, rhythm dictation, intonation training, intonation dictation, recognition of intervals melodic and harmonic, rhythmic-melodic dictation can be updated to make up for deficiencies. I can guide students in music as a hobby, as well as in music professionally.

It is with the utmost admiration and gratitude that I extend my effulgent endorsement for David, the epitome of mathematical tutorship. His fervor for the subject and his pupils is steadfast, and David’s commitment to ensuring proficiency and comprehension is manifest in every tutorial session. His availability is most pliable, as he exhibits a constant readiness to alter his docket to accede to the necessities of his students. This adaptability is rare and precious quality, one that has played a seminal role in my time near the finals. Not only do he demonstrate devotion during his scheduled lessons time, for he is always approachable for additional guidance and support outside his hours. David’s unwavering dedication to the academic success of his students is truly remarkable and deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. What distinguishes David is not solely his mastery in mathematics, but his amiable and cordial demeanour. He cultivates a genial and hospitable environment; and his pedagogy a harmonious blend of professionalism and conviviality. I consider myself fortunate to have availed myself of David’s instruction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In conclusion, if you seek a mathematics tutor, David Devidze should be your first port of call. His passion for the subject, commitment to his students, and affable personality makes him the ideal tutor for anyone seeking to enhance their mathematical understanding and aptitude. A true gem in the world of tutelage

As i am just about to start harp lessons, we had a first ''lesson' in which Mélanie advised me extensively about the types of harps that I should consider getting/renting,and explained her pedagogy and the type of music she specializes in, which is exactly what I would like to take up. She explained some aspects of the repertoire (such as the fact that for older music we often have only a melody line surviving, so the accompaniment involves improvisation). She is extremely friendly and helpful, organized and clearly at home with teaching online, which she had been doing in part before the lockdown. I look forward to having the first 'real' lesson once I have a harp to play on.
