With a doctorate in astrophysics, research at CERN and the University of Geneva, I have been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry for over ten years, from middle school to preparatory classes, as well as in preparation for the PGA at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
My approach is based on intuition and deep understanding. Before applying a formula, one understands what it describes. Before using a law, one visualizes the phenomenon. Behind every struggling student, there is a specific, often long-standing, gap in knowledge that has never been identified or filled. My work begins there.
The first session is used to assess the student's level, identify any gaps in knowledge, and define their objectives, without judgment. Then we rebuild together, brick by brick, ensuring that each concept is truly understood before moving on to the next. We explore the meaning behind each concept, and that's what sticks.
For online lessons, I use a graphics tablet and an interactive whiteboard on which the student can interact in real time. Everything written is shared after each session.
