Basic Swahili allows you to express yourself and interact with Swahili speakers in the most basic of ways and is very convenient especially if you intend to travel to Swahili-speaking regions for a short stay. Moving up to an intermediate level allows you to hold deeper conversations in Swahili an,d also read and understand literature in the language. I believe in learner-centered approaches as they have been proven to work best. I, therefore, let the learner take charge of the process while I offer assistance and corrections where necessary especially in conversation practice. In more formal lessons, I come equipped with relevant resources that will offer the best guidance towards achieving the set objective.
