I am a language instructor teaching Chinese and English as foreign languages for over thirty years. In my classes, I apply modern, student-centered, communicative approaches to assist my students in working to overcome learning barriers so that they can pursue their goals in a productive fashion. With my student evaluations averaging 4.9 on a scale of 5 at Saint Mary's University, Canada, my teaching has been proven successful, effective, and enjoyable.
