I have experience with little ones, as well as high school students. I would know how to teach in an encouraging and motivating way, as long as the student is too!

As a master's student in translation at the University of Strasbourg, I offer English courses adapted to your needs. The courses can be in the form of training for a specific exam, conversation, or fun and current affairs exercises. Having been a teacher of a 4th grade class at the Aliénor d'Aquitaine college in Bordeaux and having given lessons to adults in the past, I can easily adapt to your level.

Former student of the Louis Le Grand high school in Paris, where I followed the hypokhâgne and khâgne course, I obtained an equivalence in L1 of classical letters with the honors. Passionate about literature, I continued to read and work on my literary spirit in parallel with my art studies (I am now a decorative arts student in Strasbourg). I will have great pleasure in introducing you to the joys of Latin, ancient Greek, and French (whether it is grammar, conjugation or study of texts) or to accompany you in your studies for the baccalaureate for example.

I obtained my Baccalauréat Economique et Sociale with honors (16/20 in English). I have validated a Bachelor of English (LLCER) at Paris 7 Diderot. I graduated from a Master 1 of Teaching in English at Paris Diderot as well as to the CAPES d'Anglais competition. I did an internship at a high school in Paris. I am currently a student in Master1 MEEF Supervision of educational and social missions at ESPE Strasbourg. I taught a 1st L student and a baccalaureate preparation for a Term ES student. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
