This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

I am a professional oboist with over 20 years of specialised music education in England, Germany, and Belgium and performing experience with some of the best orchestras in the world including the London Symphony Orchestra, Gurzenich Orchestra in Koln, and National Orchestra of Belgium. I have experience teaching young children, teenagers, and adults as well as giving group lessons. I offer private one on one lessons either in my home or yours (and at the moment via webcam) with a focus on fun, musical fluency, gaining confidence in technique, and learning repertoire. Whether you're a complete beginner or more advanced, feel free to take some lessons with me and we can work on whatever area you would like to improve on. I believe that learning an instrument should be fun and enjoyable so lessons are student-centred and always with an encouraging atmosphere. I also offer music theory lessons for school children to support their musical education and any exams they might be taking. I propose violin lessons for all the ages and levels. I love music and violin in particular and what I hope is to transmit my passion to other people. What I would like is to make people learn through enthusiasm and positivity, with the belief that it is always the right time to learn something new. I have many years of experience as a teacher, thanks to the schools where I have been teaching during the last years and the teachers that I met as a student, who made me learn how to play and how to teach too. New trumpet school in Brussels whose teaching method is unique in Belgium. It is based on the student's memory technique (visual, auditory, bodily). We are all different and it is not the pupil who must adapt to the pedagogical project but it is this one which must be thought according to him. This method is also based on the flourishing of music. Our courses are not limited to the learning of the instrument as such, we place great emphasis on the assimilation of music by the body. For this we train the student in body rhythm and we include outings, among other sports, in our program. The school's teachers are specialized in various fields: jazz, classical, instrument technique, improvisation technique,... which will allow the student to choose according to his desires and to meet his expectations. He will also benefit from personalized follow-up. Our courses are open to all levels. It is the student who will determine his schedules with his teacher. I suggest you improve your saxophone and music practice by focusing on learning melody by ear and developing improvisation. As for instrumental technique, I can teach you how to place your fingers properly to develop your virtuosity, to have a tonic air column and a good embouchure to develop your sound and to work on articulation to improve your phrasing. All this is acquired little by little by playing specific exercises and solos, pieces or saxophone studies. Through learning the instrument I also suggest you develop your musical qualities which are essential to progress and have fun playing. By learning and memorizing melodies or solos by ear, you develop your ear, your sense of rhythm and your memory. Free improvisation allows you to develop your inner singing and your musical personality. Finally, working with a metronome or directly on recordings will help you improve your rhythmic ear. All this is aimed at allowing the greatest possible freedom with one's instrument as well as the development of a personal aesthetic. I started learning the saxophone at the conservatory 7 years ago. I started with jazz then curiosity pushed me to study classical saxophone for 3 years before specializing in tenor and jazz. I had many saxophone teachers (Eric Barret, Pascal Gaubert, Sylvain Rifflet, Sylvain Cathala...) and today I have a bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory with Fabrice Alleman and Manu Hermia. I have played the saxophone in many different contexts, often in jazz in small groups or in a Big Band, in classical solo or in a quartet and also with pop groups on stage or in the studio. I have always loved passing on what I have learned, so I have been teaching beginners/amateurs for 4 years, always with the aim of developing the pleasure of playing and regularity of practice.

I focus on giving saxophone lessons to people with a solid or basic foundation who wants to improve or start improvising. This course is especially for those who feel stagnant in improving their music skills. I will actively analyse your areas for improvement and provide personal guidance and methods. I am very aware that each person thinks differently while improvising: personal exercises are given, depending on your needs. Applied music theory lessons are a support of this class. I integrate chord theory into practical saxophone lessons, making a key connection between ear and theory. I started playing classical saxophone, and I am currently a Jazz saxophone student at the conservatory of Brussels. Switching to Jazz made me analyse my own behaviour in improvising, which I find a crucial step in development. Feel free to reach out! I am also happy to give lessons to complete beginners or children as well.

I'm a pianist currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels offering piano lessons to anyone interested in starting with piano to more advanced pianists as well! With some of my students we play classical, pop or even movie soundtracks, so I always adapt my teaching to the student and his motivations/aspirations. With students who haven't played piano before, I also offer introductory theory lessons, so they can really understand music and harmony from the start of their musical development!

Born in Central Asia and raised in Europe, I am an international flutist with classical, contemporary and electronic music training , and several master degrees from Conservatories in Belgium and the Netherlands. I travel through Europe and Russia to play classical and contemporary chamber music. I see music as a way for people to connect with their own creativity and open themselves to their inner voice, their true self and their unique path. I took my first piano lesson at the age of 5, and now I am a MA student at KASK Conservatory in Ghent. Studying with numerous professors made me realize a significant impact one can have on your future development. This inspired me to start teaching. My aim is to motivate students, dare them to be creative and help them express their own personality through music.
