I am a student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon currently on an internship at Imperial College.

I joined my school after 2 years of prepas (PCSI then PC *) and am now in 2nd year.

My background has allowed me to acquire a very complete scientific background. This allows to offer private lessons in mathematics, physics and chemistry for high school students, high school or even prep level / higher education.

Je suis un élève polytechnicien de la promotion 2016 ayant fait ma classe préparatoire au lycée Sainte Geneviève ( Ginette pour les intimes ) à Versailles. Je serai en Master à l'Imperial Collège pendant l'année scolaire 2019-2020 (Data Science) et je propose donc mon suivi pendant cette période.

Je propose une aide à la compréhension du cours suivie d'une batterie d'exercices tirés de sites, livres et qui correspondent aux classiques à savoir faire mais aussi aux exercices d'approfondissement pour aller plus loin pour les élèves qui le souhaitent.

Etant récemment sorti du monde de la préparatoire, je maîtrise les méthodes de travail et les réflexes à avoir en tête pour réussir au lycée comme en maths sup/spé. Je serais heureux de partager ces acquis avec mes élèves à condition qu'ils soient motivés parce que moi je le suis !

Pour finir, faisant partie de la génération connectée, je précise que je suis disponible gratuitement en dehors des cours via SMS ou appel pour toute éventuelle question ou exercice non compris !

J’ai effectué des classes préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles (20 à l’oral de mathématiques à la banque CCP - 17 à l’oral de Physique à la banque Centrale). Je vais étudier l’an prochain en « «MSc Mathematics and Finance » à l’Imperial College.

My name is Paul-Henry and I am currently a third year engineering student at Centrale Paris on a gap year internship in London. I offer support courses in math / physics for high school students and students in upper classes.
After obtaining a bac S with mention TB, I did 3 years of preparatory classes and then joined Centrale Paris.

I am convinced that the difficulties experienced by most students are due to a lack of confidence caused by a lack of methodology.
And the essential point that I was able to retain from my academic experience is: rigor and method are the key words, in their absence the student will only feel powerless in the face of the exercises that he will have to solve.

My methodology therefore consists in acquiring a fine understanding of the course before tackling exercises of increasing difficulty with an emphasis on the resolution process. This allows the student to mobilize his knowledge by demonstrating method and rigor.

I am a biology student currently applying for PhDs, and in the meantime interested in tutoring experience.I am looking to tutor students interested in applying for Biology or Zoology at university, especially in helping students through the Oxford admissions process (cover letter assistance and interview coaching).

After completing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford, I completed 2 Masters courses focusing on systematics, evolution and palaeontology at the Natural History Museums in London (course co-run by Imperial College) and Paris (course co-run by Sorbonne Université).
I completed my pre-university education in France through the french baccalaureate, and thus have particular experience in entering UK higher education from abroad (I am also bilingual/dual native in French and English).

As a passionate biology student I believe I have the tools necessary to help prospective students better express their potential throughout the admissions process.
