Speaking Turkish as a foreign language. Survival Turkish
I am a professional English and Turkish language teacher willing to work as a teacher where she will be able to apply her teaching skills and experience by learning more about teaching. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners for ten years actively.
I like not only the language itself but also the culture. It is a kind of exchanging culture. I learn a lot while teaching as well.
I am quite interested in cross cultures and teaching my own besides the language.
I am always ready to answer all the questions about Turkish and culture.
1- First, I learn the needs of my learner and discuss the way he learns the best, what he really needs, and the pace of his/her learning. After getting all this data, I understand the strong and weak point of the learner and share it with him/her. In this way, all teaching process is much easier and goal-oriented. If the learner has difficulty in speaking, I make preparation for making it stronger. Each time I prepare the lessons and send them beforehand.
2- After each class, I give homework to my learners and want them to send me back a few days before the class. In this way, I correct it send it back and give the feedback. We don't waste our time in the skype session.
3- I always use the eclectic approach. The writing, speaking, grammar, and listening are all equal ın the first classes. Then decide according to the pace of learner and needs.
4- In my first class, I just prepare a survival Turkish class. I both give hints about the language and culture. After the first introductory class, students will be able to:
- Order food in the restaurant,
- Greet in Turkish,
- Take a taxi and tell where they want to go,
- Ask the price and understand the answer,
- Use everyday vocabulary.

I’ve been studying Turkish independently and needed some formal instruction. Gül was able to adapt our lessons to my level of knowledge right from the get go and recognized what style of learning would benefit me most. She answers all of my questions in an easy to understand format and is very personable and fun to talk to. I’m so grateful I found her. Highly recommend!
Very good teacher with a good experience !
Gül is an excellent teacher, super experienced and super fun to talk with. The way she adapted to my current level was incredibly fast. I'm amazed every time by how passionate she is in teaching such a beautiful language to her practitioners. Recommended blindly!

Private French lessons for adults and teenagers with native French speaker in Co. MayoFor the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.
You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. I possess an intimate understanding of both cultures, enabling me to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students.
My teaching journey began during my time studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland. I started offering private French and English lessons to supplement my income, and I quickly discovered my passion for it. Even after graduating and embarking on a full-time career, I couldn't bear to give up this rewarding activity. I cherished the opportunity to connect with diverse individuals and assist them in achieving their language goals.
In my teaching methodology, interactivity takes center stage. I employ a variety of engaging learning tools, including photos, newspaper articles, music, videos, and more. My approach is highly adaptable, with a focus on addressing each student's unique priorities. Some seek to refine their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, while others require assistance with presentations or speeches for school or work. Some simply aspire to acquire a new language to enrich their general knowledge. I also specialize in teaching younger children, a testament to my educational background and experience.
What you will gain from my courses extends beyond impeccable pronunciation and enhanced vocabulary and grammar. You'll also acquire a profound understanding of the culture associated with each language. When speaking a language, it's essential to appreciate the lifestyle, traditions, and heritage of the nations where it thrives. French and English are spoken as primary languages in numerous countries worldwide, each with its own unique accent and cultural nuances. The learning process is limitless!
In addition to my language instruction, I'm a genealogist and host spiritual (non-religious) seminars in the beautiful West of Ireland. My passion for vegetarian and vegan cuisine adds a flavorful dimension to my life. Furthermore, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and have operated a private "Before & Afterschool" facility along with Summer Camps catering to children aged 4 to 12 for many years.
I am genuinely excited about the prospect of meeting and working with you!

Polyglot specialist with 9 years of experience. German in speed mode. Level A1 to C2. No school teaching. I offer you a German course that is not like the others. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches:
If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options:
1) Memorise the timetable.
2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m.
In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster.
My offer is aimed at both pupils and adults who want to learn the German language without time-consuming detours through the madness of fruitless school methods.
Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, with my customised lessons you will greatly accelerate the learning process while having a positive attitude.
I offer German lessons for individuals or groups (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive science and historical linguistics in particular. My modular programme can be adapted on a case-by-case basis. The converging point of these modules is your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life.
What will not be covered in the course:
learning lists of verbs;
learning lists of nouns with articles;
learning words with their translations;
flashcards;
doing school exercises;
following the syllabus of a booklet;
imposing the English grammar on the German language.
What is particularly important to me:
to motivate my student and to give him a learning rhythm;
to encourage his creativity;
to befriend him with the language;
the letters and their sounds;
to strengthen the memory by training the phonological loop;
to teach blueprints instead of memorising sentences;
to explain how the language works in order to make my student independent as quickly as possible;
to eliminate common preconceptions, such as that 'der' would mean masculine and 'die' feminine, that the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, that verbs would be irregular, that declension would be random and therefore would have to be learnt with each verb...;
to put practice at the centre and only deal with grammar where necessary.
A first lesson will give you a sound idea of my pedagogy.

✨French teacher - Pass the DELF or DALF (French diploma) - Individual or group session. ✨Hello, I am Majda, French language teacher. I have been giving private lessons online since 2018.
I offer special sessions that meet your needs and objectives to successfully complete your DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) or DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language), including the TCF (French Knowledge Test). I have been supporting many interested people of different nationalities thanks to online courses since 2018; For me, helping enthusiasts to practice the French language is a very good experience because I understand that success is a capital objective in the life of ambitious people.
I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, and also English. I explain my lessons in the language of your choice. And at the end of each session, I give lessons with exercises to do as homework to examine your gaps and monitor your progress.
Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:
The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.
Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? Do you need to follow specific sessions with me to improve your level?
Don't hesitate to book your sessions so that we can start the preparation.

English learning or improvement coursesEnglish, beyond being the international language of business, is the most widely spoken language in the world. It is a language that brings together diverse people, from different backgrounds, cultures, and languages, enabling communication between these different parties—a crucial element in various contexts, whether traveling or at work.
Moreover, today, for many recruiters, speaking English is not a bonus but almost a necessity.
During the classes I give, I will not only focus on grammatical mastery of the language, but we will also work on the pronunciation and phonetics of this language.
I will also suggest that we read aloud together different texts from different sources (novels, newspaper articles, etc.) allowing us to add a cultural and intellectual aspect to our language learning.

Mastering Passive Voice in Turkish_ Your Complete GuideObjectives
Understand the concept of passive voice in Turkish and how it differs from active voice.
Learn the rules for forming passive voice sentences, including verb conjugations and subject-object relationships
Practice identifying and using passive voice in Turkish through contextualized examples.
Introduction (10-15 minutes)
Review of Active Voice: Start the lesson by briefly reviewing the concept of active voice in Turkish, as this will serve as a comparison point for understanding passive voice. Ask students to share examples of active voice sentences in Turkish to ensure everyone's understanding.
Problem-Solving Scenarios: Present two scenarios that demonstrate the need for passive voice in Turkish. For example, you could talk about a news article where the focus is on what was done rather than who did it, or about a scientific report where the emphasis is on the experiment conducted rather than the researcher who conducted it.
Contextualization: Explain that passive voice is an important and widely used structure in Turkish, especially in formal contexts such as news, scientific texts, and academic papers. Emphasize that mastering passive voice will enhance students' ability to understand and produce texts in these contexts.
Introduction to the Topic: Introduce the topic of the lesson, "Mastering Passive Voice in Turkish," explaining that students will learn how to form and use passive voice sentences correctly. Mention that by the end of the lesson, they will be able to identify and use passive voice in Turkish confidently.
Engaging Students' Attention: To spark students' interest, share some fun facts about passive voice in Turkish. For example, you could mention that in Turkish, the agent (the doer of the action) is often omitted in passive voice sentences, which can lead to interesting ambiguities. Another curiosity is that in Turkish, passive voice can be formed with different verb conjugations, depending on the level of formality of the situation.
Development (30-35 minutes)
Theory: Explain the concept of passive voice in Turkish, highlighting that it is a structure that focuses on the action rather than the agent (the doer of the action). Use practical examples to illustrate the difference between active and passive voice. For example, you could say "Ali broke the window" (active voice) and then "The window was broken by Ali" (passive voice).
Formation Rules: Present the rules for forming passive voice in Turkish. Emphasize that, unlike English, Turkish allows for the omission of the agent in passive voice sentences. Show how to form passive voice verbs in Turkish, including verb conjugations. Use examples to illustrate each rule. For instance, you could say "Ali broke the window" (active voice) and then "The window was broken" (passive voice, agent omitted).
Examples in Context: Provide contextualized examples of passive voice in Turkish. Use texts from news, scientific articles, and academic papers to demonstrate how passive voice is used in real situations. Ask students to identify the passive voice sentences in these texts and discuss the effect of using passive voice on the clarity and emphasis of the sentence.
Practice: Allow students to practice forming and using passive voice in Turkish. Provide them with a list of active voice sentences and ask them to convert them to passive voice. Correct their attempts and provide constructive feedback. You can also ask students to create their own passive voice sentences based on the examples provided.
Discussion: Facilitate a classroom discussion on the use of passive voice in Turkish. Ask students to share their opinions on when and why passive voice is used in Turkish. Encourage them to think critically about the advantages and disadvantages of using passive voice compared to active voice.
Feedback (10-15 minutes)
Review of Concepts: Start the Feedback stage by reviewing the key concepts covered in the lesson. Recap the definition of passive voice, the rules for forming passive voice in Turkish, and the importance of using passive voice in formal contexts. Give students the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any doubts they may have.
Connection to Practice: Ask students to reflect on how what they learned applies to real situations. Have them think of examples of when they would use passive voice in Turkish, whether in a news article, a scientific report, or a homework assignment. Encourage students to share their examples with the class, fostering a discussion on the practical application of passive voice.
Reflection on Learning: Have students reflect on what they learned in the lesson. Ask them to write down answers to questions like:
What was the most important concept I learned today?
What questions do I still have?
How confident do I feel about using passive voice in Turkish?
What would I like to learn more about passive voice?
Feedback: Finally, ask students for feedback on the lesson. Ask what they liked and what they didn't like, and if they have any suggestions for improving future lessons. Use this feedback to adjust your teaching approach and improve future lessons.
Closure: End the lesson with a brief summary of what was learned. Reiterate the importance of passive voice in Turkish and encourage students to continue practicing using it. Thank students for their participation and effort, and remind them that you are available to answer any questions they may have.
Conclusion (10-15 minutes)
Summary of Content: Recap the key points covered in the lesson. Remind students about the definition of passive voice, the rules for forming it in Turkish, and the importance of its use in formal contexts. You can do this as a group activity, asking students to share their recollections of the content and to clarify any doubts that may arise.
Connection to Practice: Reiterate how passive voice is applied in real situations. Recall the examples discussed during the lesson and ask students to share their own examples of when they would use passive voice in Turkish. This will help reinforce the relevance and importance of the content learned.
Supplementary Materials: Suggest additional resources for students who wish to deepen their understanding of passive voice in Turkish. This could include online videos, websites, textbooks, and language learning apps. Encourage students to explore these resources at their own pace and to bring any questions or insights they may have to future lessons.
Feedback: Ask students for feedback on the lesson. Request their opinions on what they found most useful, what they would like to see more of, and if there are any areas they found particularly challenging. Use this feedback to adjust your teaching approach and improve future lessons.
Closure: Conclude the lesson by reiterating the importance of passive voice in Turkish and encouraging students to continue practicing using it. Thank them for their participation and effort, and remind them that you are available to answer any questions they may have.

Bonjour! My name is Léa, I’m a native French speaker from Paris, and I’d be delighted to help you learn or improve your French—whether for school, work, travel, or just for the love of the language.
After studying law and working in international law, I chose to fully dedicate myself to what I truly enjoy: teaching languages. I now live in the Netherlands, where I teach both French and English to students of all ages and levels, with a personalized and friendly approach.
🧠 Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, moving to a French-speaking country, or simply passionate about the language and culture—I’ll adapt our lessons to suit your needs, goals, and interests.
📚 I also offer lessons in legal French, perfect for law students, professionals, or anyone working with French legal terminology.
🎨 I believe language learning should be engaging and enjoyable. I like to incorporate cultural elements, pop culture, current events, and interactive conversation practice to bring the language to life.
🐾 On a more personal note, I live with my dog Rookie and cat Gus, and I love culture, lively conversations, discovering new things, and exchanging ideas.
Whether you’re looking for structured learning or casual conversation, I’d love to help you reach your French goals in a supportive and dynamic environment.
