Learning French and English for beginners

I teach the basic subjects taught in school and/or high school, to help students complete the course successfully. I can also teach adults who want to improve their English or French, either at home or online.

I offer English classes for school reinforcement from Primary to High School for adults who want to improve their level of English to advance in their professional career or to travel. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting, I have experience giving private and extracurricular classes in a school to students from Primary to High School. For the classes, I adapt to what each student needs at the moment and I try to make them dynamic with interactive and didactic activities, especially in the case of children, and, above all, communicative. If the student has doubts, I explain them as many times as it takes so that they don't have any doubts (this is the most important thing for me, that they understand and keep the things we see in class). I can offer both conversation classes, preparation for selectivity or Cambridge exams or reinforcement of grammar, reading, listening or writing. I can give classes both online and in person by going to the student's home.

My job is to focus on the content that they are working on at school and what they need to reinforce. Based on this evaluation, I establish times and days to meet the student and start studying. Every month I make a follow-up report to evaluate the progress he has made and see what grades he is getting in school exams. I try that each hour is divided into three parts, explanation, exercises and correction. At the end of the class the student takes two exercises to reaffirm what has been studied.

This English conversation and grammar course is designed for adults and teenagers. My main goal is to help you progress in this language at your own pace. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
