This class focuses on the main aspects of classical guitar performance and education and will be adapted regarding the student's own knowledge, skills, and ambitions -knowledge of the fretboard -music reading; -music interpretation; -body and hand posture; -left and right-hand technique exercises; -memory exercises for playing by heart; -guidance in the organizing of the student's practice schedule; -preparation for admission exams in music schools (ex. Sweelinck Academy) and Music Conservatories; -preparation for classical guitar competitions and recitals.

Rich in my experience and passionate about pedagogy, I teach Guitar to children and adults. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced level! Holder of a State diploma as a guitar teacher, and a master's in music pedagogy, I am passionate about transmitting. I also specialized in different pedagogies, and methods like Montessori, Willems. This in order to vary my tools and adapt to all my students. Fun, varied courses but also technical program adapted to the objectives and desires of each pupil or student. I want to help people find inspiration to play the music they love. My course will be tailor made for the student so that practicing and learning happens naturally. I focus on learning the instrument, as well as composing and discovering new music. I have been playing Guitar for over 15 years, and have been associated with various musical groups, including in a professional band setting. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
