Currently I am studying Classical Clarinet in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I like to teach and share my passion of music amongst others. I can teach classical, pop and jazz music-whatever you find most suitable. For me the most important, is for you to come out of the lessons feeling inspired and enriched by music. I've graduated in Jazz Bass Clarinet at Conservatorium van Amsterdam and in Classical Clarinet at Milano Conservatory (IT). I've been involved in many different projects as classical Orchestras, jazz big bands, clarinet quartet, chamber music, solo performance, and many jazz bands in the Amsterdam music scene.

My lessons are completely personalized. Based on your level, your goals and the time you can spend on the clarinet, we will decide together what is the best option for you. I offer several options: online or live class, the duration is from 30 minutes to 90 minutes and it can be every week or every two weeks. Learn, Create, and Perform with Poppie-Joy (SOON : LESSONS IN DUTCH) With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education. My experience includes leading creative workshops for children through the Philharmonie de Paris and developing artistic projects for young audiences. In my classes, we explore sound as character, rhythm as movement, and performance as story. For me, the body is the key to learning : I guide students to develop their body awareness as part of learning, an approach often missing from traditional lessons. Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a classical clarinet player from Greece, currently living in the Netherlands. I studied classical clarinet performance at the University of Macedonia, Greece and at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I offer Clarinet lessons for all ages and levels, piano and music theory lessons mainly for beginners. I especially enjoy working with kids, as I have experience both in teaching and caring for children. I take a holistic approach in my teachings (viewing the student as a whole) and tending to the individual's different needs. Through my music lessons I hope to cultivate essential skills such as coordination, concentration, cooperation, communication and active listening, with fun and play. I'm committed to personal growth and lifelong learning, values that I wish to convey to my students, together with qualities such as self-trust, patience and curiosity, very important for navigating their own musical journey and discovering their own unique musical voice.

I currently work as a Recorder Teacher at an all girls school in London (remotely). I have recently graduated from a Masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and am now looking for new pupils in Amsterdam. I have an encouraging and supportive teaching method, and am happy to prepare pupils for practical music examinations if they wish. I have experience with both ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall syllabuses. I am willing to travel to teach pupils within Amsterdam as well as provide online music tuition to students further afield.

I can go to your place, or you can come to mine. Nowadays, due to the Covid-19 situations, it may be difficult to move out of home. That's why I also offer online lessons: you don't need any special equipment, just a computer or a mobile and an Internet conection. I am a clarinet and piano player with 11 years of experience in classical music and improvisation. I can teach clarinet and bass clarinet at any level and piano to amateurs or beginners until a certain level. I am used to international environments (I lived in Denmark and Germany too) and I am currently learning Dutch. I had experiences in teaching music both to kids (from 10 years old) and adults. Chris is a New York City-based multi-instrumentalist. A passionate composer and improviser, he has performed as a leader and sideman throughout New York, Boston, Colorado and abroad over the past 15 years. Chris attended the Manhattan School of Music (MM ‘25) and the New England Conservatory of Music (BM ‘23). He has taught privately and within public schools over the past eight years, and loves to help students cultivate their passion for music and instrumental performance. Students can choose to focus entirely on their instrument (saxophone, clarinet, and flute), or can specifically study improvisation, jazz composition, music theory, and ear training. While primarily a jazz musician, Chris is trained in a wide variety of musics including classical, which he diligently studied on the clarinet; popular music and R&B; and world musics, including Brazilian (Choro/Bossa/Samba), Latin-American (Bomba/Timba/Rumba), and West-African styles (Agbekor/Gahu). Some of Chris's many accomplishments include being recognized as a YoungArts Jazz Performance winner for four years in a row; performing abroad in Europe with the inaugural NYO Jazz Band, receiving a Community Performances and Partnerships Ensemble Fellowship at New England Conservatory, and also receiving the George Whitefield Chadwick Medal of musical and academic performance. Chris emphasizes a teaching approach that prioritizes connecting with the student and engaging them in what they’re specifically interested in, while also covering the fundamentals essential to developing ones skills on their instrument or in their field of study. He offers lessons in person, primarily at students's personal residences, and also online via Zoom, Google Meet, or FaceTime (although in person is highly recommended).

In the classes we will address the different elements that make up music in different styles, knowing the particular language of each one. To do this, we will work on the different tools that we have with each instrument at the level at which each one is. We all know music but many times they make us believe that no, that it is necessary to know how to read and write. That is the graphic part of the language that we will learn little by little, music is a compendium of many other things. Some that we already know and others to know. We will study the use of the keys and the positions of the clarinet, or the sax, the best way to position ourselves whether we play standing or sitting, the most efficient way to use the air, the diaphragm, the muscles. We will learn to form a good embouchure and we will develop a study method adapted to each one, according to their tastes, possibilities and interests. I work with boys and girls from different parts of the world as well as with adults and the elderly. In my experience I learned that, truly, the greatest limitation that we find ourselves is the very feeling of not being able, of believing that we cannot. The support of a dedicated teacher is essential to get out of those places where we accidentally enter and that sometimes limit us. We all feel that sometime. It is time for us to remedy it. My name is Nuno and I am a clarinet teacher! I have a bachelor's degree in music and a master's degree from the Geneva Music School! I am currently doing my master's degree - soloist orientation - at Haute École de Musique de Lausanne I teach all ages and all levels! I am a very motivated teacher with a great capacity to adapt.
