My teaching is based on pedagogy studied at the New Zealand School of Music (Bachelor of Music and Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Voice), and I have experience singing and teaching in pop/rock styles, as well as folk and Scottish Trad. I believe that the music starts as soon as we start really interpreting the song, and not once we've reached a certain level. This means that we'll also approach a song with musicality, of course with pedagogy informing a good technique to protect your voice, and enable it to do what you want it to do, musically!
