My teaching method is clear, in small 'bite-sized chunks' and structured. Within a few lessons you can tell in simple Hindi who you are, where you come from, what kind of work you do and so on. After that, the Devanagari script is also discussed - for those who want to - so that Hindi really comes to life in every area and is not only recognizable phonetically. I use a Dutch teaching method in which, within a year, all the main points of grammar are discussed and with which a good, daily vocabulary is built up. I give both private and group lessons as well as support to students who master Hindi through self-study. As an Indologist I also teach Sanskrit and Indian philosophy, areas of knowledge that can also be useful when learning Hindi.
