Born and raised in Greece, where I had my first vocal lessons, I came to the Netherlands to study vocals at the conservatoires of The Hague and later Utrecht.

My lessons focus on how to consider your whole body as your instrument. Cooperation of larynx, jaw, tongue/ proper posture and breath support help us, not exclusively in singing but in everyday speaking, communicating and maintaining a healthy way of using the voice.
So, students of all levels and ages who want to discover their vocal potentials, are very welcome.

*I also have a diploma in early years education and it would be a pleasure to work with preschoolers as well.

Music is very special tool to express yourself in a creative way. When it comes to singing it gets even more personal, because the instrument is you!

I am an experienced singer in jazz and popular music styles. Besides that I am a songwriter and arranger.

I like to teach everyone in a personal way, that fits with your interests and talents. In the end I always apply different topics, such as singing technique, rhythm, songwriting, interpretation and presentation.

* I like to teach you techniques and to give you tools that makes it easier to sing and to find your own sound.
* Besides how to sing, I like to teach you about music, so you can apply your singing skills when you want to apply your musicality f.e. in a band, a choir etc.
* I can teach you how to write songs, lyrics, melodies and chords.
* I believe that interpretation and presentation are a big part of singing and also how they give you tools to sing better.

Singing to me is the best feeling ever. Your entire body is moving and your head is totally empty of worries. You lose who you are and transform into a new person.
One time you are a prince or princess, the other a warrior fighting a duel. Maybe you stare at a beautiful river or fall in love like never before. All of this and even crazier situations are material for songs. Singing is so much more than just notes, it is about using your fantasy and telling a story. I love this feeling so much that I want to share how you can experience all of this while singing.

In general, singing is a combination of technique (pitches and rhythm), posture, and breathing. Next to that, we have diction, acting, body language, expression, and joy! You sing because you like it!

Singing is for all ages, all levels, and I adapt my lessons to your level.

Don't worry if you can't read sheet music, it is a bonus if you can.

Who I am?
Hi! My name is Jobbe. Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others!

As I am only just starting with these individual lessons for a limited time they are available.

From the technique and theory of singing to performative qualities and coaching, I can help! Together we can work to get your singing to the next level!

The violin is a beautiful instrument with a beautiful sound and a very large repertoire. Make an appointment for a lesson to try it out!
In my lessons I pay a lot of attention to learning a good basic technique and relaxed posture. With this you can achieve much more and experience more fun playing the violin. We will also learn how to read music, train ear and the basics of music theory.

Learn guitar with me! I'm an experienced educator and a musician that has struggled himself with learning music, and working on the field. We can work from any level that you might be and make music and guitar learning fun and interesting! As a working musician for many years I have experience in a lot of music genres and styles, so I think we can explore anything that you're interested in, in a very deep and detailed level!

My name is Vasileios, also known as Billy, and I am a
master's student in the Jazz Department at HKU in Applied Science. I am
fresh in town, currently pursuing to finish my studies while bringing a rich
background in music and education. With nearly 15 years of experience in
classical harmony, counterpoint, jazz harmony, and performance, I hold a
Bachelor's degree in Jazz Music from the Liszt Ferenc Academy in
Budapest, Hungary.
My primary instrument is the drums, but I am also
proficient in jazz piano, vibraphone, and body percussion

In addition to my musical background, I am experienced in Konnakol, the
classical Indian rhythmic language, which has further deepened my
understanding of rhythm and enhanced my teaching techniques.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in teaching, with over 5 years of
experience in rhythm lab education, body percussion, and leading jam and
improvisation workshops for students of all ages. My approach combines
technical skills with creative expression, fostering an open and engaging
learning environment.

I am a positive, calm, open ,focused, and disciplined person who enjoys
engaging with students and clients alike. I speak fluent English, Greek, a
have a good knowledge of Hungarian, and I just started Dutch
lessons to better integrate into the local culture.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my musical expertise and
teaching experience to all of you are interested, I believe my diverse skill set and
passion for music education will allow me to make a meaningful impact with any of you.

Hello everyone!
My name is Marion and I come from France. I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started when I was a kid as a trumpet player. I played in many different kinds of orchestras and had a lot of fun with this instrument, but it was nothing compare to my love for singing! This is why I decided to become a professional opera singer and I want to share my passion about singing!

What do I offer?
Classical singing lessons for all levels with a focus on opera, songs, oratorio and choir repertoire.
I am based in Utrecht. You are welcome to come to my place, but I can also come to the students.
Lessons can be taught in English or in French, but I also speak a little bit of Dutch.

What will you learn?
The fundamental elements of classical singing such as breathing, posture and resonances for example but also styles, pronunciation, interpretation and repertoire. An important aspect I want to approach in a singing lesson is how to help you find your own voice, both in a technical and in an interpretative sense.
I can also guide you with anything solfège related like how to use and read a score or how to learn a song by heart.

What is my philosophy about singing and pedagogy?
I believe the best way to develop and improve a skill is when the students feel that they are in a safe place where they can dare to experiment but also have fun. This is an essential part of the process of music making and I try to bring fun and enjoyment to every lesson!

I started my musical studies in my home country in France, at the Conservatoire de Caen and the Conservatoire de Rennes before coming to The Netherlands where I finished my
voice bachelor’s degree at Het Conservatorium van Amsterdam in June 2018.
Two years later I graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy where
I performed the role of Tigrane in Händel’s Radamisto, The Countess of
Dunmow in Berkeley’s A Dinner Engagement, Arsace in Graun’s Cesare and Cleopatra and Fiordiligi in Mozart's Così fan tutte.
Nowadays, I am a freelance soprano working in the Netherlands and in Belgium as a soloist and as a choir singer. I often participate in productions with the choir of the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp or the Groot Omroepkoor in Hilversum.
I was one of the laureates of the edition 2020/2021 of the Dutch Classical
Talent Tour & Award, and I recently won the Handel Choir Jubilee Award.

This class is for aspiring opera singers preparing for auditions, exams, or professional performances. I specialize in helping singers master their vocal technique, refine dramatic expression, and build unshakable confidence to stand out in the world of opera.

In recent years, I have also received further training in singing techniques for pop songs and musical theatre songs. I followed the CVT basic course and the Tools for Teachers training at Cordula Klein Goldewijk. It was very enjoyable to me and valuable additional knowledge to learn more about these techniques, and about the differences and similarities with classical singing technique. So I can teach in both styles, but I have far more performing experience in classical singing and opera.

- equalizing your voice (the 'voice break')
- choosing the right repertoire
- learning to use your natural acoustic optimally
- relaxation of the mouth and throat area
