Levantine Arabic - Syrian Dialect - For All Levels

In the Levent area, which contains of four countries (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine), we call our colloquial Aammiye, or Shami dialect. Aammiye is widely understood in most of the Arab countries due to its production of a large amount of popular series, songs, and TV shows that are seen and known all over the other Arab countries. In my opinion Aammiye became -kind of- a new standard spoken dialect. If you're looking to sound cool then you have to learn this dialect!

Marhaba! I studied computer science at Damascus university. Since my graduation in 2012 I worked as a software developer until I found iTalki where I found my passion. I love reading (poetry in particular), sports (not watching though), calligraphy, and I have a limited experience with playing Oud (an amazing oriental musical instrument). • Arabic Workshop: an audios & videos library for learning MSA. I work as a script writer and assist in curriculum development
• Fluent Forever: a platform where you can learn a vast number of languages. of course one of these languages is Arabic. I work with them on developing a course for teaching Syrian Arabic dialect
• Conversations Unbound: an NGO that connects students from American universities with Arabic tutors. I work with them as a board member as well as a tutor.
