About Me
My teaching philosophyMy teaching philosophy lies in the recognition that all students regardless of ability are unique and that the environment in which they are in should be stimulating and motivational.
The classroom should be a safe haven where the physical and the emotional act of learning can grow and prosper. Where the idea of egalitarianism is present and where the exchange of ideas and the willingness to take risks has the room to do so.
My belief is that for this to happen the teacher must be willing to relinquish the role of principal orator and step back allowing the student to experience a more hands-on approach to their learning. Each student embraces the concept of collective responsibility where all are responsible for their own learning as well as each other.
What I want to achieve in the classroom is the desire for each student to grow and then to embrace their potential. My function is to nurture their development and to encourage their movement toward their own fulfillment. My classroom is a fun place to be because we have cooperative learning and we have projects and themes that have been designed to foster this process.
As a teacher, my job is to show warmth and safety, and above all, inspiration. These are traits that should be promoted because they are qualities that last.

Non-formal Latin classes. Multilingual teacher with 10 years of experience. Pronunciation, historical linguistics, semantics.Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart.
I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches:
If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options:
1) Learn the schedules by heart.
2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m.
In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster.
My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results.
Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind.
I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics.
What will not be the subject of the course:
learn lists of verbs;
learn lists of nouns with their gender;
learn words with their translations;
memory card game;
doing school exercises;
follow the program in a notebook;
impose French grammar on the Latin language.
What matters to me in particular:
motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm;
encourage creativity;
make friends with language;
letters and their sounds
strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop;
teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart;
explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible;
breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ;
place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy.
I look forward to meeting you.

✨French teacher - Pass the DELF or DALF (French diploma) - Individual or group session. ✨Hello, I am Majda, French language teacher. I have been giving private lessons online since 2018.
I offer special sessions that meet your needs and objectives to successfully complete your DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) or DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language), including the TCF (French Knowledge Test). I have been supporting many interested people of different nationalities thanks to online courses since 2018; For me, helping enthusiasts to practice the French language is a very good experience because I understand that success is a capital objective in the life of ambitious people.
I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, and also English. I explain my lessons in the language of your choice. And at the end of each session, I give lessons with exercises to do as homework to examine your gaps and monitor your progress.
Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:
The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.
Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? Do you need to follow specific sessions with me to improve your level?
Don't hesitate to book your sessions so that we can start the preparation.
