I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. In the individual lessons we discuss possibilities of thinking about sounds and ways of bringing sounds to life in different ways. Violin lessons are in particular a great way of exploring the connectedness of the thought, feelings, and body through learning the instrument as well as reading music. In each lesson, we discuss ways of developing a better understanding of this connection using different methods; the methods used for each student can vary according to their needs. As a result, students will be able to play different music on the violin and improvise on the instrument. In music theory, ear training, and composition lessons we delve into the basics of music theory in Western Classical tradition, the history of it, and look at some examples as well as practical exercises for a better understanding of the material. Through the process of learning, we will explore different ways of implementing different theoretical aspects of the sound in creative practice.
