The clarinet is a single-reed musical instrument in the woodwind family, with a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell.

Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest woodwind family, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the E♭ soprano. The B♭ soprano clarinet is the most common type, and is the instrument usually indicated by the word "clarinet".

German instrument maker Johann Christoph Denner is generally credited with inventing the clarinet sometime around the year 1700 by adding a register key to the chalumeau, an earlier single-reed instrument. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve the tone and playability. Today the clarinet is a standard fixture of the orchestra and concert band and is used in classical music, military bands, klezmer, jazz, and other styles.

I studied from 2019 to 2020 with Marco Tomas, a professor at the university of Arts in Bremen, Germany and former concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Later, I was enrolled in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium, to study for a master's degree with Professor Benjamin Dieltjens, graduating in 2022.

This course is for all those who want to sing and whatever their level, age, history! The desire and the pleasure of singing must be the first motivation!

Actress, singer and author I developed my musical practice (jazz singing, voice work, piano) parallel to my studies of theater at Insas and music at Lemmensinstituut. Next to the artistic projects that I lead (ROSA - Brazilian music - jazz - French song); Foëhn (jazz, world music), I taught the musical awakening from 2015 to 2017 at the school of music Blanches and Black and gives since the beginning of the 2018 the course of vocal training for students actors of the "Cours Florent" in Brussels and I propose on the other hand courses of songs and a work of the voice in individual or collective.

The sessions last 1 hour and can be held in groups or individually.
We always start with breathing, relaxation and inking exercises and then explore our tool with a few exercises before going to work on a piece if the student wishes. We then search together for the right tone and then dissect the melody and the text for personal interpretation. (Possibility also to work texts for reading!)

Let's go to meet this wonderful tool that we use constantly but know so little: the voice and more precisely the voice sung!

I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons.

I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical.

Clarinettiste professionnelle, j'ai commencé la musique à l'âge de 7 ans et suis diplômée du Conservatoire Royal de Mons d'où je suis sortie avec un master didactique (enseignement) ainsi qu'un master spécialisé dans mon instrument.  Je donne des cours d'une heure pour tout les niveaux.  Je parle beaucoup de la respiration, sujet de mon travail de fin d'étude, que j'estime méconnue et pourtant primordiale dans la pratique instrumentale. Je tiens également à éveiller l'écoute et le plaisir de jouer ensemble chez mes élèves en proposant des duos, trios,...
Bien que la clarinette soit mon instrument principal, j'enseigne également le saxophone.
J'enseigne la clarinette ainsi que le saxophone depuis septembre 2013, en cours particuliers mais aussi lors de stages ainsi qu'au sein de différentes académies et écoles de musique.  Lors de mes différents postes, j'ai eu l'occasion d'enseigner à tous les âges et tous les niveaux, j'ai donc appris à adapter mes cours en fonction de ces critères.

The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire.
In vocal technique, we will work on specific aspects such as the anatomy of the phonatory apparatus, its functioning, breathing, vocal emission, extension exercises, vocal register, vocal agility and vocal hygiene. .
In the repertoire, we will mainly work on songs that help and support the development of everyone's artistic personality, and we will choose songs that can help the student acquire new vocal language and vocal cues.
With me you can work on songs in Italian (I am a native Italian speaker), in English (I graduated from the Brussels Conservatory in English under the direction of my singing teacher David Linx), in French and in Spanish (languages that I studied, spoke and sung) and finally in Portuguese (a language that I studied a lot thanks to the Brazilian music that I sang and from which I learned a lot).
My method is for anyone of any age who has decided to use their voice consciously, so not only singers but also actors, teachers and anyone who has to use the voice in their profession. With children, the method will focus more on rhythm, singing and musical awakening.
In addition, we will explore topics such as complementary piano (piano accompaniment with voice), songwriting (writing your first songs or helping you write and write an unreleased song), recording and producing songs. a cover or your own original song.
