My teaching philosophy is centred around stimulating student learning and participation through content-based instructions, but I am familiar - through my methodology classes – problem-based learning as well. As a young teacher, I have successfully implemented various innovative techniques, such as role-playing as a warm-up game in the ESL classroom and implementing the project-based system where students had to present a thematic topic to the others in groups. I also created a role-playing adventure on my own as seen attached, made for classes of 10-12; for learners aged 14-16 and for a B1-level. Warm-up games, as researched in the study in my thesis, have significantly enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes, most likely since they got motivated and therefore became open to new ideas and persistent to succeed. My approach is designed to inspire students to explore beyond traditional boundaries and to think critically about complex problems.

I completed my master’s degree in education at Pázmány Péter Catholic University where my studies focused on teaching language and literature in an interactive and engaging way. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of how to motivate student both young and old, while my thesis itself focused on the role of role-playing as a motivating factor in the ESL classroom. I am familiar with a classroom where - due to the nature of my approach to teaching - the teacher acts as a facilitator and catalysts to discussion and projects rather than a “leader”.
During my time as a teacher in training at the Premonstratensian St. Norbert High School, I was so successful that I have been given an English Teaching job right out of university. In this role, I actively engaged students in group discussions and utilized innovative, interdisciplinary learning approaches as you may read in the review by my mentor teacher attached. I found great satisfaction in mentoring and supervising students, guiding them to develop critical thinking skills and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Furthermore, I attempted to differentiate and adapt to students’ needs by making them the focus in the classroom.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach.
