My experience with teaching began with the pedagogy course at the Prince Claus Conservatory in the Netherlands where I completed my master of music. Thanks to this curricular experience, I was able to come into contact with a world that has left me fascinated and with even more questions. I find the exchange of information and experiences created during a lesson stimulating and engaging. The needs of each student, noticing different personality types and thinking, provides me with the tools I need to become a better teacher. My goal is to create a serene and friendly environment while maintaining a challenging lesson structure to give my students the best quality and quantity of information.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). Hello! I've been teaching continuously for over 10 years, and I'd like to explain what you can expect from a class with me. Personalized approach: The most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I will tailor the lessons to your needs: playing for pleasure at home is not the same as preparing for entrance exams (although always with the same rigor). Your goals will influence the methodology, the organization of your studies, the repertoire, and so on. Relaxed (but rigorous) environment: Once you've defined your goals, classes will be dynamic and pressure-free. Note! "Relaxed" doesn't mean undemanding; we'll just avoid military methods—especially given my personality and sense of humor. Music, not just notes: My methods are very dynamic, with a special emphasis on hearing and musicality. No "read, play, and turn the page." I avoid approaches obsessed with reading sheet music without memorizing, listening, or understanding what is being played. I want you to own your performance and make artistic decisions. Warning! In this lesson, we will learn the basics of Arabic singing, voice and breathing exercises, oriental maqams, and analysis of singing passages. The lesson is suitable for beginners and those with a background who wish to develop their oriental performance techniques. My practice is applied using examples from the Arab heritage (such as Umm Kulthum and Abdel Wahab), in addition to listening and analytical exercises.
