I specialize in teaching voice in ALL LEVELS. I normally start by evaluating the listening capacities and the vocal capacity of the student. Then we focus on how stable the instrument is by using different Italian Bel-Canto style techniques which i have learned thru out my 25 years career in the Operatic field.

I'm a professional opera singer and a passionate teacher!
I hold a Master of Music with Distinction from the Dutch National Opera Academy and a Bachelor of Music from Buchman Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University. I have a big passion for teaching singing, as well as experience with teaching students of different age groups and levels.
Together, we'll work on technique, expression, experimenting with different styles, and more!

- Transition between registers, so called “passagio” (Chest voice & Head Voice/Falsetto)
- Improving your pitch & rhythm sense
- Expanding your vocal range and vocal abilities
- Interpreting an Aria or Song,
- Developing your musical personality
- Learning how to breathe / stand / move on the stage
- Finding your unique voice / sound projection
- Pronunciation / Articulation in different languages
- Overcoming stage-fright and insecurities
- Working on genres, such as Opera, Operetta, Songs (specific genres like Pop, Jazz and
Rock are also wellcomed)

Hey! I'm Sarah, a trained singer and breathing, speech and voice teacher.
I will now be teaching in Cologne's Old Town!
In my lessons, I meet you where you are and address your individual needs. My training and six years of professional experience have given me a wide range of teaching methods and a wealth of expertise. Therefore, what you learn with me is always well-founded.
My strength lies in classical singing, but other genres are always welcome. The most important thing is that you enjoy singing!
In my lessons, you'll learn how to use your body and breath to deliver your best vocal performance and convey powerful emotions to your audience. Everyone who enjoys singing is welcome, regardless of experience level or if you've only ever sung in the shower, and regardless of your age!
Do you have questions about voice health? I have also been working in voice therapy since 2020 and may be able to answer a few of your questions.
