Trusted teacher: Graduate teacher and concertist (from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Kiev and Master Degree of the F. Liszt Academy of Budapest), I propose to share with you my international experience as well as my passion and enthusiasm for music and music culture in general. After many years spent in symphony and chamber orchestras, I decided to devote a part of my time to teaching and has been teaching for several years in conservatories, schools of music and in the private sector. Relaxed and demanding at the same time, I will help you express the best of yourself. Course description: Modular courses according to the expectations and level of each student (fun and uninhibited approach or very demanding training in the greatest tradition of Russian and international education). For novices / beginners: it is imperative to start on a good basis, by acquiring from the start the reflexes to quickly produce a beautiful sound and have fun to master this beautiful instrument. Classes can be combined with learning music theory. For intermediate to advanced levels as well as for conservatoire students: I can bring you a methodology and advice on technical and musical plans, help you expand your repertoire, prepare you for concerts or auditions. These courses can be given in parallel to the teaching of a senior teacher. Location: I'm traveling in Geneva and its surroundings. The courses may, therefore, be held at your home or any other place of your choice or at my home in Versoix. The first lesson / meeting is an opportunity to establish a contact, to talk about your goals and expectations, to explain my work method as well as to discuss a lesson plan. This will allow you to make an informed decision later on. The schedules are flexible according to the expectations and the possibilities of the pupil. Age : All ages: child (from 5 years old), teenager, adult and senior. Languages: French, English, Russian, Ukrainian. Further information : Need for the student to own a cello except for the first lesson where an instrument can be made available. Alexander

Trusted teacher: Hello Ex-engineer, prepa math student, I offer for 7 years courses at all levels up to Bac S scientific, international baccalaureate or maturity. I have a dynamic teaching and strive to adapt myself to the personality of each one, bringing the student to understanding by various ways, depending on how it works. To acquire methods in his learning of the course, then in his application, to organize (mentally already) his knowledge, his reflection, to use techniques of memorization, these are the important points because the goal is often, beyond the lesson to integrate, to acquire logical reasoning and deductive face to the problems posed. It is ultimately about learning to think with the knowledge that we have integrated. I can also focus, for the higher levels, on the meaning of the formulas, their "origins" and demonstration, the synthesis of courses, the interaction of the different chapters ... I can give private math lessons in English if needed. SKYPE works very well with the higher levels, (I am equipped with a camera that allows me to read), it is a good formula if one is distant or if your available. are heterogeneous or late evening or Sunday or ..., the price will be lower. I am rather open-minded and relaxed, but precise and rigorous because the maths. the request (!) I give private lessons for 7 years, cumulate experiences on all levels and programs: mature Swiss program, bac ES S, English Cambridge IGCSE. ex- Engineer graduated in chemistry and textile, former student prep. math sup and spé, I am currently a part-time math teacher.

Piano and music theory courses - Cours de piano et Théorie de la musique (Geneva)
Xenia
Xenia is friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Her lessons are well-prepared and tailored to the student's level and interests. She is so very organised that you feel she has really given care to the pieces she has selected for you. She is able to balance knowledge and skills with application in beautiful musical compositions. She is also flexible and if something doesn't go according to plan she is open to change and variation to best suit your needs at the time. I look forward to my lessons with her each week and know that together we are not only making great progress but also enjoying and fostering the love for music. Anyone, young or old, would be very lucky to have her as a teacher and I recommend her whole-heartedly.
